Hi. I just moved here about four months ago and, even though I've made numerous trips out here, I'm completely amazed by the city.- I'm feeling happier and more balanced than I ever have in my life and I would like to meet someone special to share some of the great things about NY as well as traveling to other places when it all becomes too much here in the city. I'm ambitious and hard working with a strong devotion to my family - I'm now an uncle and a major reason I moved here was to be closer to my sister and my new niece. My friends are very important as well. I love cooking - my kitchen is armed to the teeth - but I love to go out as well. Travel outside the U.S. is something that is something I haven't done enough of but I plan to do more of in the future especially now that I have a great jumping off point. Even though I work in IT, I maintain my grooming, dress, and fitness at a high level. I'm goal oriented and focused. I work hard, train hard, play hard and I need to be around someone that challenges me to be a better man and person in general.I look forward to meeting you.Cheers! It would be cool to do something like skydiving and landing on surfboards where we surf onto a beach where a candlelit dinner is waiting but that's probably not realistic for a first date when I've only seen photos and exchanged a few messages with you over the interwebs.     I'm 38 and never been married and have no kids. (Red flag! Red flag!) No, I've just chosen to not get married to the wrong person. I don't need a girl to make me happy or feel complete, but it is better to share fun times with someone special. I'm not a partier but do drink socially. I don't care if someone else drinks (within reason). I graduated from UNC so I'm definitely a Tarheel fan. I'm also a Panthers fan (yeah, I get it, we're not that great) and like going to games. I love the atmosphere,energy, and tailgating. I also love any live music, movies, random weekend trips, wine bars, trying new restaurants, my niece and nephew, anything near the water, grilling out, and pretty much anything outdoors. I'm not a couch potato at all, but I do like renting a movie and staying home...especially with good company.Other than that, I guess I'm like everyone else on here - looking to see what's out there and maybe meet someone I have potential with.
