I adopted a "work to live, not live to work" philosophy a long time ago, so I'm pretty much lacking that drive and ambition that most ladies seem to find so attractive in a man. But I learned that an 80 hour work week trying to get ahead really cut into happy hour and made taking a proper vacation almost impossible. Just not worth it in my book. I don't feel that I have any real hobbies that could not be cross referenced as vices and frowned upon by the God fearing community. I don't consider working out or running to be a hobby so much as a necessary evil needed to help trim down. I fluctuate a good ***lbs depending on my mood. Sometimes I'll get fat just so I can lose the weight and piss off my friends who can't lose weight at will. I feel that I'm much too irresponsible for my age. I mean, yeah I own a house, a vehicle make a decent living, but my vision is short term. I look to the weekend, or the next vacation, not old age and retirement. If there's a stupid decision to be made, I'm gonna make it and worry about the consequences later. My regrets are surprisingly low considering. And on the flip side, I have a lot of good stories that came out of my bad decisions. So it's kind of a wash. As far as why I'm here, I'm not terribly sure. I don't really date, just find myself chasing unavailable women who are generally trouble. I somehow doubt this will change all that. But what the hell, I'm sure I can find trouble here too.Pretty sure that little bit of insight into my life does more harm than good, but I've never been much for lying to impress people. I've been told I have an abrasive personality to the casual observer, but that it softens once you actually know me. I'm not sure that it really softens so much as it becomes white noise that fades into the background after a while. But whatever the scenario, it seems to work. So you can take me at face value based on this silly little profile or actually try to get past the noise and come up with your own opinion. I like trying new restaurants and eateries, so I'd most likely be dinner some place I just heard good things about and go in blind hoping for the best. Outside of that I have no clue. Not sure I could streamline a standard date without knowing a little about the woman I was taking out.
