Hello.I am fairly new to the whole "online dating" thing and thought I would see whats out there. I am pretty much done with the whole bar scene and am looking to meet someone with substance and depth. Of the dating websites I have visited, this site seems to have the most potential, so I figured I would give it a try. I consider myself to be very easy-going and laid back. A few years ago, I bought my third house/condo and am currently remodeling it with hopes to buying a larger place in the future. It would be hard for me to find a place that compares to where I live now. My friends would say I have a good sense of humor and am a fun person overall. I listen to all types of music (country, reggae, classic rock and rock). Currently, I'm working as a firefighter/paramedic, which takes up a lot of my time, but always make time to meet new people. If you want to know more about me, just ask.....I'm an open book. I think a good first date would be to meet in a quite place where we could sit, chat and have a drink.

Life is meant to be shared, after ***years I have decided to make a huge change, I went from a job that I loved to work, but could not make a life outside of work. (Railroad) Thus, I have changed jobs still work a lot, but I have more of life. I am able to enjoy my rock hobby cutting, polishing, and occasionally seeking. Usually I take one big trip a year for ultimate relaxation, I do like the all inclusive resorts! Palace Resorts are my favorite! I plan to retire before 60 if I can make that happen, and I would like to live abroad at least for the winter months. I don't need a lot of STUFF, I would rather have experiences. The flip side of that coin is I do enjoy a good dinner, drink, or show. I am not a do it yourself person either, I prefer to hire a professional to get the job done right, and I will ask for directions if I need them. The food is good, you can get a drink if like, and if someone is having a birthday the wait staff isn't singing happy birthday every 5 mins. The first date is meant to get to know someone there likes dislikes and to see if there is something there for a 2nd. I hope for a long interesting conversation, a mutual attraction, some funny banter, a good meal, and most important that I've learned something about the other person.
