About Me

Hello...I'm Mike. I generally stay away from bragging about myself, but I suppose it would help for me to give a little description of who I am and what I do. I help people with Alzheimer's Disease as well as other dementias for a living. I love my job, and I would like to go into hospice care at some point. As far as hobbies, I play disc golf and tennis, I fish, canoe (when I get the opportunity,) play guitar, and enjoy college sports more than pro sports. Music: I listen to a lot of bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues, and classic rock, but I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it has a good beat, tune and lyrics. Dubstep is none of these. Other than that, I'll watch just about any movie once. But I'm not a huge fan of slasher flicks. They're all the same, it seems. TV: I don't own one, but I enjoy shows like Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, and The Office (both the British and American versions) when I get a chance to see them...I love to read. I'm kind, not jealous, outgoing, fairly mellow but with a definite edge, and passionate about caring for others. I would literally give the shirt off my back to someone in need.
