First off, I love movies, books, art and reading, basically anything creative. I love being outside in the spring and summer months, and Fall is one of my favorite times of year. Snow is pretty and all, but I really hate winter time (I might like it more if I had someone to snuggle with). I am very active and have a wonderful imagination.My friends tell me I am a natural comedian, and I can be incredibly sarcastic. I am very honest, thoughtful and loyal, and I am fairly easy going, I am very hard to get angry, but when I do....look out!.I have two incredible sons, my pride and joys. Much like everyone, I do have a past, and what some people would refer to as "baggage" , If you don't have any of your own or can't accept that I do, sorry, you're really missing out. I am pretty shy at first, just my nature, I like to get to know someone a bit before I let them in, but trust me, it doesn't take long. I have a few very good friends that I hang out with as often as I can we are always coming up with some grand scheme, heeheeheee(umm that was supposed to be an evil laugh). I do not say anywhere in this profile what I'm looking for...cause really I don't know. Generally, I'm looking for a woman, not too tall, not to short, not too skinny, not too fat, not to plain, not too exotic, not too loud, not too quiet...umm I like darker hair, but have nothing against blondes...hmm lets see, is that specific enough? I have made mistakes, so have we all. I'm not looking for perfect, just perfect for me. Now I must say, I would really rather not date a heavy smoker, I'm not saying I won't.. If you drink,ok, fine,but if you get sloppy drunk on a regular basis, get some help for that. Drugs are a total no no. I know lots of people who like to "smoke" but they don't do it around me, and though I don't judge, I really don't want it around me, or my kids. Life is a great journey, I just want someone to go on the adventure with..... I believe in taking thing slow and I am not into head games. I don't message very many people and I am in no way shape or form a player. The fact of the matter is that I really am kind of old fashioned when it comes to dating, and relationships in general. A cool drink in one hand a good book in the other, laying in a hammock with a beautiful girl by my side listening to the sound of the birds chirping in the air and the wind. To work in the soil and to grow things in my garden, to feel the sun on my face and my back, to play in the sun and have good times, and to share them with my sons. I don't need the internet, as much as I love them, I don't need movies, or television. I don't need the nightly news to tell me that things are bad or that the earth is sick. I secretly wish that we could take a step back and look at things without an eye for "progress" and maybe see that what we have labeled progress is simply the greed of industry. I appreciate the advances in science and medicine that the world has seen and wish it seemed to be leaps made simply for the betterment of mankind, but I know better. In this too, money has driven the industry, not philanthropy or the desire to better mankind. I am not an overly patriotic man. I believe in the foundations that the country I live in was built on, but I believe the weight of the corruption in our political system is crushing and crumbling that foundation to it's core. The violence, where is all of the anger coming from? Does the sanctity of life really mean so little to so few? What wrongs we have done to each other in the past, as a race and as a people, is it not in the past? Do not all tenants of theology believe in the rite of forgiveness? Do not all religions tell you to love or at the very least respect all life? Judge no man by the color of his skin but by the strength of his character. Judge no person by their beliefs or their customs. Simply do not judge others, this is not for you to do, it is for a higher power than yours. Accept people for themselves , good or bad.If you do not like someone, simply do not keep their company. Believe me, not everyone likes you either, but that's ok, love yourself..and if you don't love yourself, learn to, cause you're going to be with yourself for your whole life. This world is beautiful, and big enough for all, but like small children we all must learn to share, make friends, and look out for one another. We must not tolerate bullies, no matter where they are. And we must begin to treat each other and this world with the kindness, compassion, and respect it deserves. Do not suffer a fool, and punish the wicked. Shine the light on the unjust and the cruel, and enjoy the sweet gifts of life...for it is fleeting I rarely message anyone anymore, as honestly most of them don't get replied to anyway. I write a lot of things in my profile, some of which, are things I just write to amuse myself, or to paint a picture of what I would ideally want. But who ever really gets what they want, right?
