About Me

I’ve probably tried everything under the sun at least once. I’m a bit of a health bug, always exercising, climbing, hiking, jumping. I love physical activity. I’m uncompromising and hard--steeped demeanor might superficially suggest. I was born and raised in L.A. so I am a rare native. I’m difficult to know, but not impossible. I’ve had five serious relationships in my lifetime so meeting people and connecting has never been an issue for me if its there. I’m doing this for fun although I’m not banking on anything coming out of it as I tend to be more successful at meeting people when I bump into them at an event or on the street. I’m only interested in friendships developing at this point and if more comes out of it naturally then that will happen on its own without resistance. My way of breaking the ice is handing you a beer and saying, "Take this. You're going to need it." I'm a writer and I'm also heavily connected to the other side to guides and angels. Although I say I'm just looking for friends and nothing serious, that doesn't mean I won't commit to someone I feel a strong rapport with over time. I'm a passionate guy and it would be nice to have some fun at the same time with somebody.

    I'm happy. It's good to be able to say that and mean it. The last few years of my life have been a journey of huge personal growth for me and I am ready to travel the way with someone. I feel like I've matured 15 years in the last three. I accept others for wherever they are on that spectrum, but really need someone to connect to on that level to make a relationship work well for me. I think my ideal first date is pretty simple - let's meet over coffee or dinner and just talk. Alternatively, if we share a common interest, like hiking, I'm totally open to trying something more nontraditional - like a hiking date. I'm pretty open and care more about who I spend my time with than what I do.
