This will be a bit brief and I'll add to it soon (didn't have a "tell us about yourself" planned out.I like to think that I am a pretty genuine guy... what you see is what you get (does everyone say that?). I enjoy joking around and being playful... anything from witty banter (can I claim that about myself?) to rolling around with my nephews and niece trying my hardest to recreate the voices from Sponge Bob. I can be fairly sarcastic, but I try not to do so at the expense of others.I am a romantic (at least, I think so) and I enjoy spending quality time with the lady in my life... I like to do spontaneous things to see a smile on her face.One of the challenges, I think, to a site like this and a personality profile is that I, like most people, am not one dimensional. Yes, I love some adventure... traveling, camping, anything really... but I also like to do quiet things like sitting on a covered porch on a summer night listening to the rain fall. I love spending time with friends and family but I also like to take a walk through the park by myself.I am definitely a social creature. I am not a fly on the wall at gatherings and yet I don't particularly enjoy huge crowds... confused yet?As far as what I am looking for...The short answer is... I'll know it when I see/hear/feel it. I could make a list of qualities (and I will list a few) but, ultimately, I think it comes down to how you feel when you are with another person. I could say I'd like to be with someone intelligent... but what is that? Book smarts, street smarts, empathy, wit? Any and all of those would be great, but I don't think I could quantify what I want or need... it'll come down to how I feel.With that said... honestly is critical. Someone who has a good sense of who they are, what they want in a relationship and life would be nice. A sense of humor and a true sense of tolerance and consideration for others.Oh, please don't smoke crack or club baby seals! Well... I guess it depends. I'd like to get an idea of what the woman I am dating likes before planning a date. I like to draw from the conversations we have had to incorporate into a date to make it special. Don't get me wrong, sometimes a date is just dinner and good conversation (or a walk and good conversation) but assuming we've had some interaction (phone/email) I think a first date might be on the simple side (I think more extravagant and romantic dates are more appropriate for an established relationship)... I am a big fan of the outdoors/nature... I promise to keep you from falling over if you are holding your sides from my glorious sense of humor! I'd follow that with a walk in a local park or arboretum (is that too much walking?) and then follow it up with a nice dinner, if the weather is accommodating, at an outside table... we make some chit and some chat, you fall in love with me, I pretend not to notice... gotta play it cool... and... As I said before, the more intricate plans would be for someone I'm dating for a while... me cooking, weekend getaways, candles, etc.
