Hmmm, online dating... So I'm new to online dating and not sure what to expect from this experience, but I'm gonna try and jump right in. I have a few favorite hobbies that include weekend beach excursions, coastal fishing, boating and swimming. I love kids and have two boys ages 5 and 7. I like to drink cold beer at the beach and red wine in the winter. I'm a meat and potatoes kinda guy. I love having someone too cook for and having someone cook for me as well. I enjoy all types of music from TOP 40, 90's alternative, 80's hairbands, southern rock and classic rock. I have a job, I own my home, my car is paid for, I have two dogs, two kids, all my teeth and have my life pretty much together. I'm hoping to find a mature woman in a similar situation who's free spirited, intelligent, confident, honest, relaxed and real to spend some quality time with. I am NOT looking for a project! Hey, thanx for checking out my profile! So, where do I start with this? Well, of course, im down to earth, laid back and love to laugh. I mean, isnt that what everyone says? Its hard to talk about yourself and not have it sound like a cookie cutter stream of sentences. The truth is,I can say anything to make myself sound great, but I chose to show who I am with actions. I believe that I really am all those things, but people usually pick someone that they find attractive. Its human nature. That being said, I can only hope to survive the scrutiny of your babe-o-meter. While I do believe that im an attractive guy, I realize that im not everyones choice for the cover of People magazine's sexiest man. I would settle for a variation of, 'he's not gross'. :-). I love the water and being around it makes me the happiest, even if its just a mud puddle. Some of my favorite activities would be fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking and camping. Can you tell that I like to be outdoors? :-) I also am an animal lover and I have 2 dogs. They are mini Dachshunds and they werent my first choice in a dog. I normally favor a larger dog breed, but I got my first Dachshund for an ex gf and...well thats another story. They are great and now that I have them, I cant imagine not having them. Football is about the only sport that I really watch, but when the season rolls around, I am in my element. I have other interests, but its impossible to list everything here. I am also open to new things, so if you check out my profile and want to try something new on a date, I will probably be up for it. My interests in music are wide and vast, as long as its not rap. I watch some tv and I am usually watching the Discovery channel, Animal Planet, History channel,SyFy, AMC and FX, when I do. A good first date would involve something that allows us to talk and get to know each other. Something where we can see if there is chemistry between us. Maybe some drinks or dinner.
