For starters... I've never been an online dater and I know I'm not the most photogenic person. So This will be different. I am certainly open to trying new things. A little about me.....I love spending my leisure time on the beach or on the boat. Water-time is essential to maintain clarity! I don't get as much leisure time as I'd like, but who does??? I have worked for myself since I was 19. Did quite well. For the past 2 years I have been in Building and Roofing Sales. I'm always looking for opportunities to make money. Time is tight right now, working 60 hours a week. Therefore, here I am, filling this thing out and feeling a little weird about just putting this information out there. Country music is what I normally listen to. If we're dancing, more than likely we're 'boot-scootin'. I do listen to other genres. I suppose it really depends on the mood and what I'm doing at that time. Salsa and playing guitar are on my "things to learn to do" list. I am an avid outdoorsman so I really enjoy fishing and camping. A little fine dining and room service w/ a great view is also stimulating. Foods.... love sushi! If I'm cooking, then it's probably something marinated/seasoned and grilled w/ veggies on the side. I try to eat healthy and stay in shape, however, I do splurge on occasion. I would say that I'm more of a "Listener" than a "Talker". That's why It's a little weird describing myself here . So I'll sum it up and you can give me a shout to find out more. Overall... I would say that I am interesting, optimistic, kind, intelligent, ambitious, generous and an exciting gentleman to be around! (I am also modest) Too Much??? Well, I was raised with Christian values. Small town, God-fearing country boy w/ Big City Interests! I try to surround myself with positive, fun, intelligent people. One more thing....Friends First, and see where it goes from there. I will fill this out better later, just a simple start for now. I want to find someone to date for a while, and hopefully it will be someone with whom I can feel comfortable eventually living together and having a house and life with. As far as hobbies, I love sports - both participating in active sports and watching them in person or on tv. I like to play disc golf and exercise, especially bicycling. My dream would be to do an ironman competition someday, but unfortunately I am not independently wealthy and cannot take weeks or months off work just to train ha. I love to sing and do karaoke. I also enjoy watching movies, bowling and playing pool. I also love snuggling together on a couch or bed under a warm, comfy blanket. I believe that the most important part of a good relationship is honest and open communication, aside from a base physical attraction to each other. People grow to trust and count on each other more through overcoming adversity together. I'm not a perfect person and have made various mistakes in my past. I've learned some things out the hard way and have had to grow as a person through them. I don't make tons of money, but I have a job and am able to support myself and get by decently. I'm still a little bit skittish commitment-wise and in really putting my heart out there. I have about a year remaining on a 3 year bankruptcy that occured after trying too hard to make things work out with someone who was willing to take advantage of my desires to find someone to settle down and have things work out with. But if nothing else I'm still always ready to try again and hopefully find someone who helps brighten up my daily life and flash beautiful, infectious smiles at on a regular basis!!
