My headline (looking for mixed doubles partner) is basically that if people can be a team in doing something like a doubles match, sports, a project, etc, they can be in a strong relationship together. This does not mean that I will only date people that play tennis. It just means that I am looking for someone that handles that type of situation in a manner that leads to unity and not a blaming of the other person for every bad thing that happens. I have seen far too many couples show this kind of a dynamic where one partner blows up at the other on court over every missed shot. I also am not a big drinker (my personal choice and not a teetotaler for everyone) or smoke in general as I try and keep myself healthy and still want to be able to compete at a high level in my sport.I have been fortunate to make a living with my favorite hobby (tennis) and enjoy staying active and working out. I have always played sports and enjoy just competing no matter if I am really good or really bad at them (never know till you try, right?). I love swimming and doing things around water as well as just enjoying the outdoors. I could ride horses before I could walk, but I have not done that in a good while. I am also a big time dog person. It does not matter what you do as long as you get to spend time with someone and talk.
