I’ve never lived in a more active community. I like to spend my free time doing triathlon type stuff, mountain biking, hiking etc. During the winters, I ski as much as I can. I also, like to just chill out and have a few beers. I enjoy traveling. Some friends and I did a 5 day hike through the Inca trail up to Machu Picchu, which is freaking awesome. Only thing that would make it better would be to have a great girl with me. Next on the docket is Tansania and Kenya. I want to go on Safari and scuba if possible. So many places to go. :)I read quite a bit. I am currently on book three of Song of Fire and Ice. I am also reading Mao Tse-Tung's biography. I highly recommend it. The guy... is just the most evil human being I've ever read about. In general I like reading sci-fi/fantasy and non-fiction. I am a sucker for a good bio or current events book. I am pretty independent by nature. I work like a maniac and really enjoy teaching myself new things. I enjoy dangerous fun and take adversity as a challenge. I am an open book. I currently don't have a ton of time to meet people as I am in my last year of medical school which keeps me pretty busy, but when I do get the time, I love to go out, eat good fun, go to the bars or movies, and hang out with fun, outgoing, and positive people. Whenever I get the chance, traveling is my passion. After I graduated from college, I moved to Australia and lived up and down the Australian coast for six months, living out of a camper van I bought and sleeping each night on the beach. During the days, I would surf (although somehow I still suck at it), and eventually moved on to work on a sheep sheering farm in New Zealand, and then later went to Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Overall, I'm a really positive, outgoing, funny, ambitious person that has had a lot of cool life experiences. I'm easy to talk to, honest, and just generally a pretty good guy so if any of these things interest you, we should hang out.

I get too comfortable too fast, at times inappropriate but all in good fun. I don't take things too seriously except my work.
