Like every other guy on here, I have my good and bad points. I have no problem admitting to my faults and weaknesses, or anything else for that matter, but I also don't spend my time hyping up my good points. Talk to me, and we'll go from there. :-)I read profiles before I look at pictures. I'm looking to see how you see yourself mixed with how you think others see you. Some of what comes next may sound harsh, but i gotta cut through the bullcrap. I want someone with self respect and modest beauty. That means you want a guy to want you for WHO YOU ARE, and not using your body to attract a guy. I also want someone who has a job, their own car, and doesn't do drugs. I'll buy you things, but I won't be your payday. I'll take you places, but I won't be your free taxi. I don't mind if you smoke green or drink now and then, but I won't have a drunk or stoner in my life.I want someone with an education, and who sounds educated. I need someone who can be intellectually stimulating, who can hold theoretical conversations and who can spell correctly. I don't mind the usual texting shorthand, but if that's how you always type, I'm sorry, but it's just not going to work.I really want someone who I can be best friends with, to talk about everything with, quietly enjoy sunsets and sunrises with, make fun of movies together, and things like that. I'm slowly working on fixing up my house, and I do my own maintenance on my car, so I also want a woman who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, and also likes to do things like that. Loving pets is a requirement.I've been told I'm a good guy, but that's also led to me getting friend zoned too often. But I do want someone with whom I can be friends with in a relationship. Someone I can talk to about anything. I only keep a few close friends, and they are positive influences on my life. I won't stay around someone who is going to bring negativity into my life. I also don't keep people around who I don't feel I can trust. I do take chances sometimes, but they are calculated, to an extent. I know I have to take a chance sometimes, to be happy, but I won't risk anything pointlessly.I'm going to very picky here. I think I'm at a point in my life where I have the right to be. I'm tired of settling for less than what I really want. I've got things going my way in life, and I'm happy with it. I'm not going to not be happy with my life anymore, and I want people around me who won't bring me down or hold me back.Do you think you can keep up?Just a side note, if I've not directly replied to you after 2 weeks, I'm not going to, and desperation is not a quality I'm attracted to.Also, between my job, my house, and my pets, I have other things to do besides being on the internet. I do appreciate the messages ive received thus far. :-) I think a proper meal is a good way to get to know someone. Some times things can be learned by not only what they eat, but how they eat it. I'm a Foodie, so I like to see what flavors people really love. After that, skip the movie. You can't learn anything about someone in a dark room, unable to hold conversation. But I don't want to be making all the decisions here. Show me something new, something different, something spectacular. I like nature, so there's a hint. Life doesn't require heavy expense to be enjoyed. It's all about the simple things. :-)
