However, I don't believe that would be a good place to hold a conversation. Physical attraction is important, but I have to be able to connect mentally. Therefore, I would prefer a quiet restaurant, a outdoor group activity (such as a group hike), or a hole-in-the-wall pub for at least half the date. The second half could be a comedy club, or maybe a local club with a blues band. Keep it simple, keep it light. A first date should be about feeling comfortable, and not trying to overly-impress. I won't learn every wonderful thing about that person on the first date. Let's just see if we have a connection. Sound good?
