ill start by saying im not as old as this says i am! born Jan ***. funny story, ill explain if you ask.not sure how i would describe myself but I think most who know me would say I am one of a kind in many ways. I grew up watching and idolizing the dream that Star Trek represents, i think that says a lot about me, but you might need to be at least a little geeky to understand that.I can be very logical on the surface, this often makes people come away with the first impression that I am cold or an jerk, once you get to know me you will find that is not the case at all and underneath I am all mushy and soft. I tend to be pretty open and honest, even when it gets me in trouble. I am easy going, unless otherwise called for, and loyal to the end for those that earn it.I am a bit of an introvert but love hanging out with my tight-knit group of friends. my favorite things are: cuddle time (no joke), feasting with friends and deep debate/discussion about life the universe and everything ***.One of my favorite things is going to my family house in the country on weekends and just chill out in my hammock. I like to play video games now and then but its not hard to pull me away with the right reasons.I love cars and got my motorcycle license and first bike this year.Working in IT/hightech I have no option but to like computers but I can always think of better things to do.I like my job most days when i get to help people make a positive difference in the world. would love to own a unique business with friends some day and stop working for the man.I enjoy most sports and play a few, ultimate frisbee would be my main choice. I like a fair range of music from classic rock to metal and lots in between.I don't sit down and watch much TV at all but i love movies and do follow some select shows like Top Gear, Game Of Thrones, Spartacus, Californication, Shameless. if they still had good/real sci-fi I would be watching that. I want to do more traveling in the next few years to explore interesting parts of the world but also to just get away and chill on a beach somewhere.looking for a true honest, real person who will respect me for me. go grab a really good coffee or a nice pub for a drink.

    Where do I start...well since most of the people who get in touch seem to ask the same things I thought I would clarify a few of them in my profile. Firstly I am a dad who likes to spend a lot of time with my son as he is the most important person in my life, but he is now nearly an adult himself and is becoming less interested in relying on me and more interested in doing his own thing (I am told this is just normal and shouldn't take it personally :-) lol). Because of this I get to do pretty much what I want with my spare time, it's just that I prefer to do fun stuff with him rather than trawl the local nightlife scene which has become more tedious every time I do it.My actual age is 39 but it apparently my profile says I'm 33!! If anyone knows how I can change it please let me know! I wouldn't worry as I don't act or look my age anyway or so I'm told. Having a good circle of friends which keep me grounded with sometimes uncompromising banter also helps quite a bit!My main hobby is training a martial art called Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which I discovered after taking my son to train for self defense. I absolutely love it and the best part is it keeps me fit and in shape but is nowhere near as boring as running on a treadmill or struggling through a myriad of meat-heads all trying to get on the weights bench in the local gym.A few other basics are that I am very well house trained and have my own house, car and job which enjoy etc etc. I love to cook and experiment with all kinds of recipes too. I'm very self sufficient and love the peace and quiet of my own company as much as I like to spend time with other people but there comes a time when finding the yin to your yang becomes more of a priority which is I guess why I am here :-)Well I'm sure there is loads of stuff I have left out but if I carry on there will be nothing for us to talk about. P.S. Yes all of my photos are recent and not photo-shopped or deliberately blurred to hide the crows feet!! lol Do people really need to resort to this to gain some interest. I assume at some point we are going to meet anyway and would not want to see a look of disappointment on your face on the first date! That wouldn't be a very good start now would it!? ;-) Maybe go for a drink somewhere quiet and cozy or a walk in the country or if you're feeling more adventurous make a suggestion and chances are I'd be up for that ***
