So... I enjoy hiking, cooking, Netflix, live music and keeping in shape. I'm a genuinely nice guy looking for a genuinely nice girl. If it's nice weather...maybe a hike followed by a picnic (I'll cook) or a nice evening out at a local place to hear some love music.

Im a confident take charge kinda guy. I like to think I have a great since of humor since I can find almost anything funny and can be very sarcastic at times. So if you cant read sarcasm Im not the one for you. If its broken I feel like i have to fix it. Currently im not looking for that overwhelming first date. Would really just enjoy a quite dinner getting to know you and see where it goes from there. If it dont work then we go our seperate ways and no harm no foul. If theres a spark we can go from there... just seems theres so much less stress and expectations that way.

Don't worry, that was an attempt at humor. Just making fun of my social skills but I'm actually a descent conversationalist. I love meeting new people. People would probably describe me as energetic, funny, personable and easy-going. I've got a great job in IT at the U of M that I love. The people there are great as well and it also allows me ample opportunities for working out and flexing my schedule. I like to take care of myself, exercise regularly and try to eat as healthy as I can, as long as it tastes good. I play basketball and do yoga a few times per week. Lots of biking and hiking in the summer. I play in a football league in the fall and love to watch the NFL all season long.Recently, I've taken up an old hobby again - oil painting. It's so meditative, expressive and challenging. I love the freedom, the lack of guidelines, the subjectiveness and the absence of definitive answers. I also love movies, especially classics. Reading. Traveling...Send me a message if any of this sounds copacetic. My idea of a great first date wouldn't really be a date at all. It would be a casual, low key meeting for drinks and to get to know each other a little and talk and if that goes well then maybe a second, "real" date that's more formal.
