Ohh lets see…Seriously, does anyone ever enjoy filling this part out? Im a student, going for a BS in Public Health with plans on doing a Masters in Epidemiology within the next couple years. Before that spent eight years in the military, had enough of that so chose school. My main hobbies besides things like reading, camping and the standards are making costumes. It’s also a side job, surprising amount of people who like looking from someone out of Mad Max. I do game from time to time still though between the other hobbies and school not as much. I was rock climbing (mostly gym) there for a while, but not a fan of the auto belays at the gym. I do enjoy backpacking and hiking, I just never get out to it anymore. I’m a fairly reserved person; prefer to stay in more often than not but do get out every so often. Usually with the aforementioned Mad Max costumed folks, long story. Have my own place and a dog, a reliable if not overly fashionable 89 Jeep. It runs and won't total it the same way I did the Scion. Not really sure what I am looking for out of this place, meet new folks and see where anything else goes when it comes up. Hmm, guess that about sums it up, message me if you want, sort of the point of the site I suppose. Something lowkey, personally a fan of Dive bars over say a club or a hole in the wall restaurant over something larger.

1) I have many hobbies including shooting, working out and general activity, movies and music, cooking, and am always looking to try new things or other people's hobbies out.2) I am a pediatric ICU nurse at the hospital and plan on becoming a Nurse practitioner in the NICU within the next 5 years. I want to be successful and be able to help support a family that is able to do all the things my parents were able to do with me.3) I am a very caring and nice person that really does enjoy making others happy; at the same time I don't put up with things that are two-faced or unnecessary, and am quick to voice my opinion if I feel it is needed. I like being a support system to my friends and family as well as to a significant other. I am a driven person and anything that I want I go after 100%, I can make people laugh pretty well, and know how to be fun or serious depending on what is appropriate. Anything else you want to know feel free to ask..-hop/rap music, there is very little that I will not listen to. I have everything from classical (like mozart) to country (like Kenny Chesney), Although some current pop music I find unoriginal or lacking... If you would like a more in-depth idea of what I listen to I would be happy to talk music. My idea of a first date involves activities that both allow time to talk and get to know the other person, while also involving an activity such as a movie, concert, sporting event or something of that nature just to allow us to see how the other carries themselves in public. There is no definite idea of what should happen on a first date, I think as long as both people get to share in the something that the other is interested in, than it can be a successful set-up for a first date.

I am an adventurer who believes in a balanced but exciting lifestyle. I like to ride the divide between nature and culture. I spend my days outdoors - running, hiking, or playing sports - and, at night, I dive into cultural pleasures, like movies, books, and music.I teach humanities courses at a private high school, including art, film, photography, creative writing, and anthropology. Despite a demanding work load, I insist on living a life filled with pleasures, thrills, and enlightenment. I spend my weekends catching movies at the Loft, attending music shows, reading, and participating in any number of other awesome activities. I have been listening to bluegrass, old folk music, and even reading up on the cultural history of the area. I just visited the local library and picked up The Anthology of American Folk Music, a collection of old folks songs recorded by the Smithsonian in ***. I even threw on Ice Cube's "Today Was a Good Day" as I woke up last weekend. The same experimentation holds true for my tastes in film, food, and books. I sample from a bit of everything. I go to the Loft fairly often and catch independent and foreign films, but I am not above a good popular thriller or drama. For literature, I float back-and-forth between poetry and prose. I enjoy the poetry of 19th century nature- Ultimately, I have many interests and am insatiable when it comes to knowledge.
