I love food...both cooking and then eating it. My friends are never surprised to find me talking about a feast that I'm planning (they know if they bring pudding or drinks they can join in). This doesn't mean that things don't go wrong still but I guess that's how you learn. The first time I tried to make a poached egg I made what can only described as a wet eggy mess...now I'm a poaching master :)I read a lot of books. Mainly historical fiction (Sharpe) or fantasy page turners (Game of Thrones).I have a piano which I like to play. Although I did the grades it tends to be used more for drunk sing-a- Who knew that wooden spoons made such good substitute microphones?I get on well with technology. My main ambition is to run my own web business and I devote quite a bit of my time to making this happen.If you asked me a few years ago I would have laughed at the idea of exercise but I now enjoy keeping fit. As long as my nemesis - shin splints -..maybe even beat my previous time (especially important now that some of my friends have beaten this!) As it's now summer I'm hoping there will be a chance of sunny pub garden at least once this year!
