About Me

I am an individual that enjoys trying new things! I try to make the most of every moment, and be present with the people around me! I try to maintain a positive outlook even when things aren't going quite as planned! Keep the fire burning!I love being active!!! That's a huge part of my life....I am currently on the hockey team, basketball team and ultimate frisbee team for the dental school. This past summer I got into yoga heavily ***times a day). I wanted to see how my body responded to consistently doing a new form of exercise; and it was amazing! I felt much more in control and grounded! I also love being on the water; I was on the rowing team back in undergrad and absolutely loved it; so I join the dental dragon boat team in the summer! I'm a country boy at heart and love being up at the cottage when I get the chance! Something about the tranquility and peace with nature that strikes a chord! Also, there are so many fun things to do in the country when you are active!!! As you may have gathered, I am currently in my second year at UofT dentistry! It's been a long journey, but I love learning and I love the people in the program! It's been an amazing experience thus far!I have quite the nerdy side too, and enjoy reading up on what's new in science and technology. I like watching TED talks as well! Keeps my mind going! I enjoy a good intellectual conversation too!I have lived in Europe for a couple years, which was a great experience to bring back with me. Lots of stories to talk about! Anyway, I'm pretty easy going and enjoy getting to know new people! I'm also quite goofy when you get to know me! My favorite thing to do is laugh and be ridiculous! :) Something out of the ordinary
