Spend some time talking in a quieter location, getting to know the person. After that, head out for a drink or desert where you can continue to listen to what the other person has to say. I have never been a fan of going to the movies or really loud bars because you can't hear anyhting, which makes it harder to connect.Again, I think all first dates should be different but this would be one that I would enjoy.
