I do my best to strike a balance between hubris and humility. Really though, it just depends on the day. I used to dance at a studio, served in the military, studied abroad while in college, and occasionally grow a liberating (but ugly) beard. I guess I like to shake it up.To quote a friend, I like to live vicariously through myself. I spent most of my 20's living a rich man's wildest dreams on a shoestring budget. I think.I was a nerd when I was little so I use big words. I swear it's not to impress you.I am actively trying to leave the country. I'm training to be a medic for a private security firm, and it fits into my 'don't be poor' plan for the next couple years. I am a teacher otherwise, and while I dig changing the lives of young ones, being borderline destitute is decidedly unattractive to the opposite sex. Figured you'd like to know.I enjoy hating on hipsters. I'm aware of the irony. Confidence is sexy. That should be in bold.I am constantly searching for cathartic release, because it's my self-medication... All things I do on a regular basis, and all things that help me sleep like a baby. You should note that I don't really do most of those things very well. In my heart of hearts, my ideal first date would include the Ironman suit and lots of fireworks. Someday. I'm not hard to please. I usually just take a guess at a classy activity that a lady would be likely to enjoy.
