Some say that the key to a man's heart is through his stomach. This, for me, is a fact. So, if you're brilliant in the kitchen, especially if you have a particular flair for making cakes (lemon cake in particular), then I would love to hear from you! Not that I'm looking purely for someone to feed me. Just thought I should point that out.....I have a great circle of friends, but I like to meet new people as well, which is difficult when you spend your time in the same places with the same people! So that's why I'm on here I guess. I do find it difficult to meet new people as my job keeps me quite busy. I'd like to meet someone to share a spontaneous weekend away with, someone to share new experiences with and introduce me to things I haven't seen or tried before. I think laughter is really important for general wellbeing so I try not to take myself too seriously. I have to be quite professional when I'm at work so I like to let loose and be a bit ridiculous when the time calls for it. My friends would say I'm funny, love a bit of banter and that I'm also caring and reliable. Well, at least I hope they would. I haven't asked them.....I love to travel, but it has been a bit limited as I have had a steady job for 8 years! Also love live music, and like to combine it with the travel.Random facts: I love rum, I own a house, I'm scared of spiders, I'm awesome at singing in the shower, I love lemon cake - I know I've already said that but it is extremely important that you know this!Anyway, If any of that sounds at all interesting, it would be great to hear from you. Right...how to start this off?? I guess would say I'm a laid back guy, who enjoys a laugh and has a taste for adventure and new things (cheesy opening line there!). I am a psychology graduate who has gone into a public facing job where every day is different...(leave a bit of intrigue here!). I work hard and enjoy what I do but then like to make the most of my time off. I enjoy good food, whether i'm cooking (and I like to give things a go) or trying out a new place. I like to see new places and have done many mini travel adventures though there is infinite more places out there!I listen to alot of music and like finding new bands/music and going to gigs, though have an ecleptic taste which ranges from motown to 80's stuff and current indie/acoustic bands. I try and keep in some sort of shape at the gym though i'm not religious, just do enough for that ' fit body and mind ' or the periphery of it! However, I am a bit of a movie guy and watch alot of dvd's or go to the cinema when I can.Anyway, if you fancy getting to know more then get in touch. That depends...but usually a drink somewhere is not a bad shout!
