I like going to a cafe/restaurant for a first date, but I'm up for doing something a bit different, it all depends on the person. Other first dates I've had have varied from the cinema to art galleries to gigs. I think you can tell pretty early on if the other person is enjoying themselves, so I dont go into first dates with a set game plan.
