I enjoy locking eyes with strangers across crowded spaces, even if only briefly. One of my favourite pastimes is mutual laughter between friends, new and old. For now I work in the non-profit sector. Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Community, Boardwalk Empire, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock (et al.) are all game changers. Film is huge for me too; anything that makes me think or laugh is worth at least two of my hours. I'm looking to meet someone who will challenge my assumptions about the world. Someone I can cook for in exchange for laughs and good times (and perhaps dessert). Someone to dance with and to receive footrubs. Someone for whom I can write free verse poetry. Let's take a pottery class, or go ice skating, something to take the pressure off so we're not left staring blankly across a table at each other when the small talk inevitably dwindles.
