I enjoy locking eyes with strangers across crowded spaces, even if only briefly. One of my favourite pastimes is mutual laughter between friends, new and old. For now I work in the non-profit sector. I play drums in a doo-wop cover band. We play shows and everything. Some of my other hobbies include cycling, slacklining, canoeing, camping, jamming on my ukulele, catching live music whenever possible, reading, writing, cooking, gardening... There are definitely more. Ask if you're interested.Music is important to me. I enjoy almost all of it. I really like to dance. I'm a big fan of the revival of scripted television. Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Community, Boardwalk Empire, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock (et al.) are all game changers. Film is huge for me too; anything that makes me think or laugh is worth at least two of my hours. I'm looking to meet someone who will challenge my assumptions about the world. Someone I can cook for in exchange for laughs and good times (and perhaps dessert). Someone to dance with and to receive footrubs. Someone for whom I can write free verse poetry. Let's take a pottery class, or go ice skating, something to take the pressure off so we're not left staring blankly across a table at each other when the small talk inevitably dwindles.
