About Me

I take myself too seriously. Faaaar too seriously. Not down to earth either. I can't even see the ground. Complicated, challenging individual with many fascinating tales to tell. I don't like going out and "avin a laugh" either. That's like, such a waste of time man. Srsly. Currently living in my house alone, not far from Wigan in the north west. As a result I spend a lot of time on the road. My philosophy on life is to seek new experiences and ways that are unconventional - ideas that others wouldn't consider. I live in the solution, not the problem and i believe affection is best when it's unconditional. Things I would like to do with a girl on the near future: 1) Go diving. 2) Wander a city pretending to be Scottish tourists. First to break character loses. 3) Find out what she's always wanted to do but just never been able to make it happen .... make that happen. I hate starting a conversation with polite noise ... Share stories. Go find a tourist attraction to wander round. Hold hands. Get ice cream. Sit, hug, talk. Get up .... laugh when we find there are seats nearby when we'd been sitting on concrete for the last hour or two.

    Don’t worry; I'm not really mad, I have a certificate to prove it! Admittedly it's home made, but I think it still counts. I’m James. I used to be a northerner but moved down south after graduating because that’s where all the fun jobs seem to be. I’m not going to try and describe myself with the usual string of adjectives. I’m far too modest for that and it just makes me cringe when I try. I’m a big fan of photography. Never let me take you to a zoo, I’ll insist on stopping to swap lenses every 5 minutes and drive you mad. I think this stems from an unfulfilled desire to become a professional wildlife photographer. I prefer to play sports than watch them; usually badminton / tennis / rounders. I’d love to give curling a try one day though. I’m a bit of a film buff and will watch most things from low budget monster movies to classy foreign films, although I do have a habit of falling asleep in action films. I love listening to music and my musical tastes lie towards the indie/folky end of the spectrum.
