Just a laid-back guy who loves to spend time outside and wants to meet a woman who would rather go for a bike ride than go to a club.My job as an editor keeps me inside most of the week, so usually my weekends are all about playing outside if possible—whether it be climbing a mountain or tossing the Frisbee or riding my motorcycle or sitting around a campfire with a guitar or snow shoeing or having a cookout with friends or even just lounging in the hammock with a good book and some mellow tunes. Eventually I hope to be self-employed or to freelance full-time so that I can work from home with the freedom to make my own hours and travel to exciting, exotic places when the mood strikes. I do work hard, but I'm definitely not a workaholic. (Who invented the 5-day work week and 2-day weekend anyway? That seems seriously unbalanced.)Sometimes (like when it's raining) I do enjoy spending a lazy afternoon curled (or cuddled) up on the couch with a warm blanket and a good movie. But first, let's spend the morning planning our next adventure or writing a story together.Autumn is my favorite time of year, and it's right around the corner. I love a lady who can rock worn-out jeans and a warm hoodie. Let's go apple picking and carve some pumpkins!I adore music. Lately I've been on an indie/folk kick, but I appreciate most genres. Want to catch a live show and have a beer or two? Sometimes I grow a beard just to shave it off. If you have it, why not play with it?I love most animals, but I'm a sucker for dogs. I'm unreasonably afraid of (yet fascinated by) birds.I'm pretty easy going and curious, so chances are we'll have something in common and get along—if you're not an ***hole. Respect goes a long way with me. I'd like to meet a woman who is as kind as she is pretty.A couple of years ago I was in a very serious relationship that (obviously) did not work out as I had expected. Since then I've done a lot of soul searching, and it feels like it's time to start meeting new people again. Is this how you do it? I imagine a motorcycle ride to a relatively unknown coastline, where we stop to spend the afternoon skipping rocks and exploring the walking trails together. On the ride back, we check out a local pub for a sunset drink on the deck or patio. Ideally the evening sky will be clear, and we will go back to my place to stargaze from the hammock, enjoying each other late into the night.
