Internet dating is an odd creature. I was in a rather long relationship for the most part of my adult life. Learned a lot about the kind of person I want to be with and what it takes for both parties to maintain a healthy and thriving partnership. Yet finding that someone off the internet feels almost unnatural and forced, and the thought of telling people I met a girl on the internet is not very appeasing. However, there are many individuals on here that you would never have the chance to meet. To not use this tool would be a wasted opportunity to possibly meet someone awesome, and waste not want not... Frankly, if I really cared about someone I would not give a hoot where or how we met.I'm up to a lot of fun and interesting things.Going to copy and paste some of my OKC here... Just a better site hands down.BOOKS: Constantly reading. I enjoy mostly history and science related books.; Thuan.MOVIES: netflix is a good buddy of mine. Just watched Gomorrah, makes me want to lose my hope in the future of humanity.SHOWS: Television makes me want to kick things. I enjoy everything from cajun folk to Swedish synth pop. Been on a bit of Fritz Kalkbrenner kick lately.FOOD: I have found happiness in preparing food, few other activities ground me as fully and enlighten the senses, mincing and dicing soothe me and reading a cookbook excites me. I suppose this can happen when you don't do it for a living. I enjoy making a lot of rice, bean, pasta, potato, and other veggie dishes. I do eat meat, but not often. Really, I just try and eat according to my ecology.

I'm *** am a Nuclear Engineer (shipyard, we make submarines). I am also a Licensed Skydiver, & Skydiving is my Heart & Soul. Alot of people at my job take their job title as an "Engineer" really seriously, & I don't understand it. I'm a Professional, but your Job is NOT your Family, or your Happiness. Keep priorities straight.Absolutely love to Skydive. It is the essence everything I take pride in: Competition+Progression+Friendships+Worldview. I've done over ***jumps now since I started 2 years ago, and I will continue to do it forever. Best sport in the world. I wouldn't classify myself as an "Adrenaline Junky," but I do enjoy pushing limits & stretching comfort zones. It breeds personal growth.I grew up playing sports: Baseball, football, soccer, wrestling, swimming. I like to Exercise alot, & I like to go on long distance runs & swims.Music is also a big passion of mine. I'm a big 90's kid; I loved the pre-'96 Grunge era. Rock, Alternative, Grunge, Metal/Hardcore, Indie, Classic... I'm a big fan of Electronic music as well (Trance, DNB).I am always listening to music, daily.I've been in ***year relationships in a row before now (not all in a row, time gaps, I'm not a quick rebounder like that), so I'm not really sure what I'm looking for right now, other than that I enjoy companionship.I've been singled up for almost 2 years now, so it's very safe to say I'm looking for that girlfriend figure again. I'm not really big on doing very cliche things on 1st dates, like "Dinner + Movie." I feel like that puts alot of added pressure on meeting someone brand new. Drinks or Coffee is alot more casual...However, I mean if you want to do dinner & movie & I like you, then that's totally cool, I can do whatever you want.
