I suppose I'm funny/witty/sarcastic - but that's open to interpretation. I'm incredibly fun to be around and super hot - clearly an objective observation of myself by myself. Whether I'm playing music or being a scientist, my job is to tell the truth. I can't think of anything more fantastic than that. I'm active - I run a lot, and I like to get a work out in more days than not. Like most nerds, I like to read. Most of what I read has to do with my research, so it's usually something about social networks, social media, and technology and society. I also write a lot - I'm the creator and editor of a blog about research methods - it truly is exciting stuff! I wouldn't say I'm a workaholic because I'd probably being doing my job as a hobby if I weren't getting paid to do it.I play the guitar like ***the people on this planet. I try to get out a lot - both locally and not so local. I travel when I can - there's still quite a bit left on my to-do list. New experiences are important, so if you have something new an exciting to do, let me know. In general I like really cool things, and here are a few: football, mountains, beaches, everything in between mountains and beaches, the arts (music, performing, folk, the kind you just look at), craft beers, cooking (I tend to cook healthy, but I can make some super unhealthy things too). There's a lot I could say but I'll try to keep this short. First and foremost I try to lead a fitness oriented lifestyle. No, I'm not a meathead. It brings me peace of mind. Lifting and exercise have always helped me to stay focused and centered. I have a BA in Exercise Science and am currently going back to school for Athletic Training. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps Infantry and am very blunt. Seriously, I come off as an ass, and probably am an ass often times, I just don't feel the need to make everyone like me. I have other more important things to worry about. Now to address my profile some. I recently ended a 3 year relationship and am strictly focusing on myself, my school and my training. That's why I selected the "I want to date but nothing serious". Not because I want to be a player or sleep around. Seriously, forget that noise, it causes more trouble than its worth. Furthermore, my training, school, and future career are first and foremost for me. That being said, you never know who you will meet and what kind of impact they will have on your life so I try to keep an open mind. If you can't respect that and think that you will somehow become more important to me than them, you're dead wrong. Seriously.
