Hello! I find it a little awkward to describe myself but I'll give it my best shot :)I typically work a lot and thoroughly love what I do. If I'm not doing that I keep things very simple and laid back. I have two dogs and think a night wrestling with them is usually more fun than a night out. I like to consider myself an optimist and generally positive by nature. I believe in doing what makes you happy and once it doesn't you change. I apply this to work and most other things in life. Like most people I've been through my fair share of b.s. but unlike most I recognize past patterns and won't repeat them. I'm a tough shell to crack but I'm always honest (to a fault) and upfront. I can be shy or hesitant but I do my best not to let it affect me. As far as what I'm "looking" for... Well who's to say. I don't really do the casual game, been there done that. I don't frown upon or judge anyone that does... It's just not my scene. I'd love a relationship but I'm in no rush, it's got to be real and something extraordinary for me to commit to that. I guess mostly I'm looking to chat with interesting guys and see where it goes. I'm not too crazy picky when it comes to looks on a guy. Typically I find slightly older/taller than me to me more attractive but hey... Why judge a book by its cover? I'm a nice guy. I'm sarcastic, witty, joke all day. I believe that life is too short to be so serious. I have my serious moments, but I choose to let them be few and far between if the situation permits. I'm loyal to a fault and I'm poz so I don't get close fast. I won't turn away a good conversation though. Just start with hi and we'll take it from there.I prefer a man who is a man and is comfortable in his own skin. Looks aren't the basis of attraction. He has to be smart and attentive, spontaneous and classy, a gentleman who is blunt and to the point, but not a jerk. Maybe I'm asking too much. I know how to compromise, but I know not to give up too much so as not to enjoy the time I am giving and receiving. My ideal first date would be something original. Nothing big and flashy. I'd prefer a more personal, intimate setting. Something relaxing like a jazz club or a poetry reading to a night club. I like things that mean something.
