Doing nothing with people you like is always preferred over activities with people you don't. My tastes in music leans more toward rock/blues over rap/disco however, there's always a something in-between the two and even sometimes from the latter that might catch my ear. I prefer live music to dance clubs any day. We don't have to have the same likes or share the same views but we should have respect for each other; simply put, I'm not going to always agree with you :) Of course chemistry helps too...let's be honest, that's what makes us interested in the first place, the rest comes in time.
