I'm a Sagittarius so I'm very outgoing and love to have fun, but I'm also very driven in my career and am told quite often that I work too much. I started out as a Navy brat (born on Guam) and moved quite a few times growing up. I try to live by the Golden Rule as much as possible and try to maintain an open mind. I have a wonderful career as a .NET programmer and love what I do - in this respect, I feel I have been truly blessed. I have also been singing professionally for about 18 years and am just as passionate about that - although I did originally get my start in the performing arts in community theatre back in the late '80s and would love to do another show at some point. I'm currently in a new band that is just starting up, so you're likely to find me rehearsing, programming, or working out. Exercise and eating right are also important to me, and I try to workout 3 or 4 times a week (usually either P90X, Insanity, or something equally as intense***I'm often told that I look about 10 years younger than I am, so I figure I'm going to do what I can to perpetuate that for as long as possible!I really have had an amazing life so far, but the one thing that's missing is that someone special to share it with. I know there's no "Perfect Man", but ideally it would be someone who could be summed up as knowing who he is and where he's going. He's confident but not****, intelligent, open-minded, and can effectively communicate his feelings. Someone who has a big heart and demonstrates kindness, compassion, and sensitivity. He places a high value on sincerity, integrity and family, and makes an effort to take care of himself and stay in shape. And lastly, I like to think I'm "liberated", but I still very much appreciate chivalry -- opening the door for me or pulling out my chair scores major points in my book!

I am a single mom of 2 boys and they are my life. I have a great love of photography and it is very rare for me to be any where without my camera. My house is kinda a crazy place with 9 cats and a dog, along with my kids & their friends :).;..and I do love out home teams too. Animals are a passion and I would love someday to have a samll farm where I can rescue & rehab horses. As well all other animals that need my help. Sports for my kids take up a fare amount of my time but for the right guy, he too will be a huge part of my life. I am a vegetarian too. I find writing about myself a hard thing so if this much grabs ya, then I'm doing something right...lolI would be happy with a guy who understands the importance of family, love and finds laughter a wonderful thing. If you're a guy who hunts and finds that the best decorations are the heads of the animals you killed, don't bother talking to me. I would be up for most anything...a sporting event or just a date over coffee/tea. It all really depends on what the mood that stricks us.
