I started dancing in July of ***. When I did it brought back a childhood dream that I had pushed to the back of my mind. I always wanted to be that lady in the beautiful dress gliding across the dance floor. I am now living a dream. Not many people can say they have lived or are living their dream so I count myself as one of the fortunate few. I love all types of dancing including Country Western and Ballroom but prefer Salsa and Bachata.I am looking for someone who can share the love of dance and spin me around the dance floor. I am not going to teach you how to dance, just putting it out there. I put dancing on the back burner twice before and I won't do it again. I am looking for a man who can go dancing one night and feel just as comfortable sitting at home the next night watching a movie or going to shoot some pool. I can be a home body at times but I also love to go out and experience new things. If you have to be in bed by 9pm you may be looking at the wrong profile. I am a night owl not a morning person. I am somewhat independent but still like a man who was raised with manors, who will open a door for a woman and pull out her chair.I can be brutally honest and not mince words (why waste time). I don't jog or do the hiking and camping thing but if that's what you like to do I won't mind if you do it without me. It may not sound like it but I do love the outdoors. Want to go fishing, lets go. I'll even bait my own hook. You can thank my dad for that one. Want to go to the gun range, lets go. The only draw back there is I don't know how to clean my guns. I can dress to impress or I can throw on my jeans and be just fine (some say the jeans can be impressive...lol).I am having a great time on my own right now meeting new people and making new friends in the latin dance community. I am not looking for a relationship. If it happens so be it but I am not looking. I would love to be able to go out with someone who shares the same interests but also likes to go do stuff on their own without me. I am looking for someone who is confident and secure with themselves but not to the point where their ego gets in the way. If you are the controlling type you might as well stop reading and go on to the next profile because that won't fly with me. Jealousy won't get you anywhere either.I am one of those girls who likes to hold hands. I seem to thrive on the sense of touch even if we are just sitting there watching a movie or in the car heading out to a good time and your hand is on my thigh. It's really that simple. I enjoy a good kiss be it slow and sensual or a quick hello. I am pretty easy going. Sometimes I have nothing to say so if you like your quiet time as well that's a plus.I usually have friendships that last a very long time. I am loyal to my friends. I am an easy-going kind of woman and really love to have fun but I am not just a "good time gal". I love to laugh and believe you can find humor in any situation. I still believe in romance and been searching for it. It seems to have gone extinct. It has to be out there......somewhere... I have to keep the faith, lol. My goal is to find someone to spend my time and hopefully my life with. I wonder if there are any guys who actually court a woman these days. I love baseball, especially going to a WHITE SOX game. Grew up a WHITE SOX fan. My dad took us to games often. That is one of my favorite memories from growing up. I still go to sox games with my dad. I also love going out for a movie, some bowling ( haven"t done that in a while lol), perhaps a walk along the lake or in the park, checking our beautiful cities sites or one of the many festivals that goes on around the city or some dancing, not that great of a dancer but still love to go anyways. Lol...or whatever. But a nice evening at home relaxing on the sofa, watching movies is just fine too. Gardening is another one of my hobbies. I love to take a couple(or a bunch) of planters and create something colorful and beautiful. this year I am hoping to plant a variety of hot peppers again, mmmmm love hot peppers. I also like to cook, sometimes I can whip up something awesome but I can also sometimes mess it up....lol.I usually toss it out and laugh it off. I am always looking out for new and interesting recipes to try out.I need some new recipes for all those hot peppers I planted, lol. Maybe I can cook an awesome meal for you. I can also make awesome drinks and went to bar tending school(hoping to make that my next profession) to perfect my passion. I can make you a kick ass drink to go with that meal. I am somewhat health conscious and workout ***times a week . My workout is very important to me. In the past 5 years or so I have lost about ***lbs. I am very proud of that so I am always on top of my workouts. I am very loving, affectionate and loyal and would love to find similar qualities in a man. I love to take care of a man as long as he takes care of me the same way.....emotionally, spiritually......and physically. I love mystery novels.I enjoy reading books by John Sandford, his "prey" series is very riveting. I love comedies...anything with Will Ferrell, he is hilarious, also like thrillers and horror movies.In the category of tv, I lean towards the 48 hour mystery type, but my all-time favorite is seinfeld, HILARIOUS.;;b, pop but tend to like the older music(80"s) more than the modern but I have to say Maroon 5 is very good....just about anything really except rap....sorry. In the food category I tend to love pasta dishes, especially Italian but I also love mexican, Thai, chinese food. Really I love all types of food especially hot and spicy.......the hotter and spicier the better (atomic wings from wingstop, HOT!!!!! YUMMY!!) but I will try just about any type of food. First date should be very relaxed maybe for a cup of coffee or a drink, if we end up clicking we could go for dinner or a walk to continue our conversation.....notice that I did not say go back to your place or my place...just saying. Lol
