Yikes! Writing about oneself is harder than I thought! But, here it goes…I consider myself to be down to earth and sensible, with a little twist of frivolousness. I strive toward living a life full of happiness and balance. I tend to have a busy schedule (like all of us), but enjoy and appreciate my down time too. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my family. They would probably describe me as smart, dedicated, dependable, quick witted, thoughtful and giving. I am established in my career, financially independent, own my own home, and have no children. I can do the girlie-girl thing very well but can also swing a mean hammer (though I'm not so good at hitting the nails--LOL)! Did someone say home improvement project? I try to live healthy, so I spend some of my free time at the gym or walking/jogging the lake with my dogs. But, don’t let me fool you…..there is plenty of cheat days included in my “healthy lifestyle”. I love patronizing non-chain restaurants whether they are a dive bar or five-star. I love seeking out new places, spending time engaging in good conversation over a glass of wine and enjoying the simple and fine things at life has to offer. Ideally, I would like to connect with someone seeking a committed long term relationship. I am looking for a man who is kind, thoughtful, honest, loyal, confident and most of all, family oriented. I want a life partner to explore new places, pursue fun activities and enjoying each others' company. Life is too short not to share it!     Hi! There are many facets to me. I'm a mother of 2 great kids who are now both in college . I'm a science teacher and department head and I also teach drama and music.#1 selling CD with our producer. You could even download me for 99 cents! I have the cutest dog walking the planet. I sometimes get to teach on tall ships in the summer and travel with my son's drum corps. If I'm not occupied by either of those things, I really like to travel. I love visiting and learning about new places. There are quite a few things that strike a passion in me. Many have to do with the arts, nature, and travel. There are many beautiful things and places to see in the world. It would be much better to be experiencing it all with someone special.I've been a reluctant artist most of my life and am trying to conquer drawing and painting. (My students enjoy trying to figure out what the heck I'm drawing on the board to make a point. I figured it was time!) I also love to garden and dig in the earth. I have my own house so it's a fun game trying to figure out the things I can do on my own to it and then the things I know are out of my league. ( I was so close in replacing the garbage disposal until the pipes didn't line up!)If there's not a tall ship to sail on, I like taking my kayak out and about.
