About Me

I am attracted to fun, kindness, and honesty, and a good sense of humor. Simply stated, I’m looking for a man who complements me, not mirrors me. Like me, he’s someone who values the differences in people, and wants to experience new things. He truly values his friends and family. His sense of humor may be irreverent but it always gets the laugh. He gives incredible hugs and he’s ready to get in touch and see where our conversation may take us…Those who know me best will tell you I am curious, adventurous, quirky, active, creative, entrepreneurial, loyal, kind-hearted and fun-loving. I adore my friends and family and love spending as much time as I can with them. In addition to owning a local business, I also make jewelery; I love getting creative and have a deep appreciation for design and art.I’m at my best with a small group of friends rather than a big, busy group. My favorite times are spent over dinner with a few friends. Great conversations and laughter make me feel alive. I am pretty active. I like to run, hike, and paddle outrigger. I love to cook and to eat. I'll eat most anything (although I'm allergic to gluten, so I have some limitations). I eat mostly vegetables, but am happily an omnivore. I’m pretty content with my life overall. It’s full of love and fun, but I’d love to meet that one special someone.I am an avid reader and have been into historical fiction for the last few years. I'm reading -- I appreciate offbeat movies. Some of my favorite comedies are Nacho Libre, Anchorman, The Jerk, Superbad, and The Life Aquatic. Singing in the Rain is a sentimental favorite. I love sports movies, yet dislike watching sports. Go figure... One of my favorite things to do is see live music. Sings Like Hell series is pretty great. So is Club Mercy at Soho. Some of my favorite things -..

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

About me…My pictures are current and my age is true. I am young looking and at heart. I hope to be lucky to find a man that I have a lot of chemistry with and one who wants to share time doing things after work and on weekends. A man who genuinely wants to find someone to have a long lasting relationship. If you asked my friends to describe me, I think they would tell you that I am a happy, fun and easygoing person to be around and that I am very loyal, honest and kind. I am a classy and educated professional who is financially and emotionally secure. I am romantic, like showing and receiving affection. I don't like or have drama in my life. I enjoy kayaking, biking, boating, yoga, tennis, movies, music, traveling, wine tasting, hosting parties and taking cooking classes. I am trying to learn the ukulele and enjoy writing screenplays. I like being in a relationship, I have two kayaks, two bikes and a charming electric boat to watch sunsets from. I have a bachelors’ degree, own a beautiful home, have been a tax preparer, financial analyst, and both a Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services. I have a retirement plan and I am looking for someone who has also done their planning. I have a positive attitude and I am grateful. I have my world together, like and enjoy my lifestyle and want to find that special someone to share it with.About you…Are you under age 55, attractive, smart, intelligent, professional, classy, fun, calm, kind, romantic, loyal, have your world together? Someone who has similar interests so that we can spend time together. Do you like to open doors, remember birthdays and anniversaries, buy flowers and cards for no special occasion, enjoy drinking socially but, not daily... then we should meet. If things you would do are getting drunk and embarrassing me, borrow money, go MIA, not come home, date others, have an intense personality and like jumping out of airplanes or off bridges, like to ride motorcycles all weekend, then we would not be a good match and good luck to you in your search.***WARNING*** ANY *** INDIVIDUALS USING THIS SITE OR ANY OF IT'S ASSOCIATED SITES FOR STUDIES OR PROJECTS *** HAVE PERMISSION TO USE ANY OF MY PROFILE OR PICTURES IN ANY FORM OR FORUM BOTH CURRENT AND FUTURE. Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 43-53

I am a very active person who loves to be outside.Love to try all things new: places, food, experiences. I just started trying my hand (or legs) at cross country skiing, but I am still in need of a lot of *** the summer I enjoy hiking, camping and kayaking. Surfing when I can get my friends and I on the same wave length and work schedule. I love to eat out, but recently have gotten really into cooking. Nothing fancy really, just taking my time to do it right without burning it. I am a huge fan of travel and do my best to go on at least one big trip a year. I have gotten quite fond of guided treks where all I have to do is show up, enjoy the scenery (if not the food) and practice my "hearts" playing with other trekkers. Would depend on the individual, coffee. hike?

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.

Looking for: man. In age: 43-53

I don't have a lot of photos, plus I'm not photogenic at all. My photos are recent. Why do people put up old photos and leave stuff in the profile that they stopped doing five years ago, or lie about their age? I don't know, but I'm 46 and proud of it. I'm a natural brunette which turns red in the sun. You never know. . . I've somehow recently taken up an interest in woodworking. How many women do that? Probably not many in LA. I find it challenging and quite interesting. If something needs to be done, I figure if I don't do it myself, no one else will do it. I also try to keep up with my own yard. I also enjoy working with dog rescue groups. I have three dogs of my own (small dogs) so anyone I date should be a dog lover too. I am an insurance agent for a large brokerage firm and I deal with demanding people and I am required to go to lunches, dinners and sometimes business trips out of town. So the man I date will have to be ok with that. I don't have a college degreee but have been working in the same field for 20 years and I enjoy it.I enjoy all kinds of music, but the new country music is really my favorite. If you have your Sirius radio on The Highway, it's just so calming. I like sappy love story movies, action, comedy - pretty much anything but horror.Cooking is really not my favorite and I am on a path of healthy eating (but not vegan) and I've been going to the gym regularly. I'm not in supermodel shape, but I can wear just about anything. I'm probably my own worst critic when it comes to my body, my weight or my looks. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 8. I work out to feel great. I also like to watch the men working on their muscles. It's a happy feeling. I've been married twice, once for 13 years and the second time for 10 years. Yes, I got married young. I'm not really sure what I'm ready for - I've been divorced for two years and recently had a six month relationship but I think I need to start slow and if something happens, I'm good with that. :-). I am sure that the right man for me is out there and I'm willing to take my time to find him. So don't assume that my category of "I want to date but nothing serious" means that I want to date a different man every night. If I happen to stumble upon the right guy, I am all for having a real relationship.I have advice for you men also - if you see a woman in a store, on the street, in the elevator and you find her attractive - talk to her. We don't bite. I like the idea of a quick meeting, maybe coffee, and then if we are still talking 2 or 3 hours later, then we know something is clicking. I'd like to start slow and see what builds up!
