Hi, Thanks for visiting. I'm 48, love to laugh, enjoy good conversation, am single for the first time in a very long time and would love to find someone with compatible interests, including a simple desire to just hang out and enjoy each others' company. I'm not particular on how we might spend time together, as I enjoy a lot of variety in activities. My main interest is in finding someone who is sincere, authentic, can be direct about what they want and is willing to take a chance and explore the possibilities together. I work on felted wool sculptures for fun, and used to do it for a living. I'm uniquely intuitive, empathetic, thoughtful and kind. As part of that, I'm open minded, and can consider many points of view on any given subject. For example, I'm a liberal, but I love Adam Carolla. But I still feel like I'm getting to know this amazing town and would love someone to explore it with. I had a 17 year marriage, now divorced, and happily with no baggage. Not every divorce has a villain, and I'm grateful to be spared baggage, and drama in that department. I have a 14 year old daughter, who lives with me half the time. I love being a parent, but am also enjoying the freedom of being "kid-free" and getting to create a richer life for it. So, the best of both worlds.I can be assertive, but would really love a man who would also like to take the lead, and isn't afraid to.I've never been to Timberline and have just realized that. I would like to do that on a date some time. Oh, and if you can ever swing tickets to Book of Mormon, there will be vast rewards for you.-pop, or mariachi, then we're cool.;; Garfunkel and Dolphins Healing Radio). : -)I do TV mostly in binge form these days, with long dry spells in between.I'm smart, and not afraid to share my opinion. But I'm also keenly interested in what you're thinking, too, and will seek out your thoughts and opinions. All of this stuff about hobbies, taste in music and love of animals is kind of beside the point for me. I'm most interested in the fact that you have interests, and are not content to sit and watch tv every night in lieu of being actively engaged in a life that you love, or are working to build.I'm proud of having survived a rough start in life, and not letting it define me. I'm more insightful and compassionate than most people you will meet because of it. Starting life like a feral cat means that I'm comfortable in my own skin, know what I want and need, know who I am and am comfortable in charting my own course, even if it doesn't match that of the mainstream. I hope that you, too, are accepting of yourself. Both because I would want that for everyone, but also because untormented types are usually easier to live with and more fun to be around. And, lastly, this year has been dedicated to firsts for me, and to trying new things. I hope you, too, have a bit of adventure and spirit to bring to the table. Let's meet up for coffee or a drink, have an old fashioned conversation and take it from there!

What's the first thing that comes to mind when I say . . . laid-back, playful, fun loving, compassionate and romantic-at-heart? Did you say me? Well, you will once you get to know me. I am considered a very generous person with a tender heart by those who know me. I surround myself with positive, optimistic people. You might say I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll which means I love both city life as well as living in the country. Actually my preference would be to live just outside a city, in a country like environment. And if I was to win the lottery I would have a log cabin in the mountains and a catamaran in the Caribbean. To me life has meaning when we reach out and make a difference in another's life. It may be as simple as giving a hug, just being there or perhaps lending a hand to someone who needs it. What matters is to give with a loving heart and remember there's no such thing as a small act of kind of kindness & every act produces a ripple effect. A close friend once wrote this about me " She keeps in her heart a special loving kindness for those who are close to her. She is considerate to the feelings and emotions of others and is always willing to help where she can. She is caring and compassionate. She has open ears, and open heart and an open mind. She listens. She is honest, highly intelligent and insightful. She is a pleasure to work with as well as socialize. She is a credit and complement to those fortunate to be associated with her."When I get to the end of my life, I want to look at the life I have lived and feel that I lived it to its fullest, seeking my Lord and serving other people. The ideal man is someone who enjoys a good conversation and is comfortable in a variety of settings. He would be someone who knows how to laugh and enjoys living life to the fullest. My heart flutters when a man is kind hearted and thinks of others before himself. The kind of man I want to spend time with enjoys some of the same things I do.These are a few of my favorite things:Butterfly wings, a sprouting seedThe fulfillment of another's needA heart set free by the hand of GodA thunderous storm, a brilliant sunriseThe heart of love seen in smiling eyesChildren's laughter; lovers songAn honest heart, arms that embraceThe gift of mercy, peace and graceEncouragement that pours from a heart that's pureA soul that doesn't give up no matter what they endureAre just a few of my favorite things.
