Well, this wasn't what I had in mind when I said "I do" 18 years ago, lol, but here I am, answering the "do you have a car" question, ha!......I do! I'm at a great place in life and have so many things for which I'm grateful. I have two amazing girls ***and ***in which I have shared custody with their father. My youngest plays club soccer and my oldest is an artist. They make me proud every day!Most of the people I surround myself with are upbeat and friendly. My background is in entertainment. I was a club DJ/competitive ballroom dancer in the 80's and worked in the industry in LA and NY for CEO's after that. I enjoy most types of music, but I am a bit partial to 80's/90's alternative, ska, blues and pop. What a great show!Staying fit has always been part of my lifestyle. I'm also a pretty good ping pong player! (that's what you were waiting to hear! Line forms to the right, ha!) Salsa dancing keeps me in pretty good shape as well. Don't worry, I won't make you dance. ;) So I'm looking for a solid best friend. Someone who gives me butterflies when I think of him. Someone who sends me silly texts during the day. My wish list (which is what I hope to bring to the table) is for him to be intelligent, funny, optimistic, honest, considerate, playful, compassionate, passionate, genuine, very affectionate and love music! Is that a lot? Well as long as I'm wishing.... I'm hoping to reach my final destination, which is a place I like to call "love". I believe it still exists. I just read this quote and thought it summed up my feelings..........."Nothing defines humans better than their willingness to do irrational things in the pursuit of phenomenally unlikely pay offs...this is the principle behind lotteries, dating and *** flea markets on a rainy day and spend fall Sundays screaming for the Chargers from somewhere....anywhere..........I can feel you are close........ I am open but I do not drink coffee so would prefer meeting for lunch, a walk, a drink or sailing-even possibly doing something fun and silly like bowling, go carts or pool.....I am awful at each so you would have a lot of fun laughing at my attempts ;) I would be extremely impressed, flattered and surprised by a man who takes the initiative & plans something he thinks we will both enjoy, simple-nothing fancy.....I trust youBest case scenario we will laugh until we cry.........worst case scenario, we will cry until we laugh....either way-new friends ;)

First Date: Hmmmmm. I guess meeting for lunch or coffee at first, but if there's a good band playing somewhere, I am always game for that as well. Dining out is nice also, no extravagance necessary though. I am easily entertained - not a high maintenance person at all. If there's a spark, great; if not, at least I've made a new friend...
