I really dont like talking about myself...but their not letting me go any further til I do. So I am a very caring person. I have alot of patience and understanding for people. I work with Alzheimers and Dementia patients and believe me it opens your eyes up to appreciate the little things in life and not take things or anyone for granted. I have a daughter that is my world and I spend alot of time with her. Im a very laid back person and dont get mad very often....I REFUSE to argue with anyone about anything. Its ok to disagree but I feel like both adults can sit down and talk it out. I believe TRUST, HONESTY, and COMMUNICATION are three very important elements in any relationship whether it be friends or more...with those three things you can build a solid foundation. Honesty is very important to me Im too old for adults playing childish games.

I am looking for that person that just "fits". I am not looking for a Jerry McGuire. It's more like the shoe that fits my sock. The person who, while maintaining their own individuality, somehow dovetails with me while I maintain my own individuality too. One of the things I miss the most about being in a long term relationship is the connection that builds between two people. The kind where one person just has to look at the other person to convey a thought. Where hands automatically seek one another. I don't care what it is I am doing - being there with someone I truly enjoy makes every activity better. ( I have had fun walking 17 blocks in NYC in the rain with a group of people ...we were soaked...but it was funny and we were laughing the whole time)I am looking for my partner on this journey we call life. Someone to grow with (Not stand still and never change). In the end - the journey is what it will all have been about. I am an bighearted person who is not afraid to speak her mind. Please be open to hearing what I have to say as I will be giving that same respect back to you.As a chld of the 80's I listen to alternative music the most though I enjoy rock, grunge, metal, some hiphop-dance top forty, and some jazz and occasionally classical.(pretty much anything except screamo, muzak, and gangsta)LASTLY...and I truly dislike being forced to put this on my profile...but ...I do not date anyone who does illegal substances of ANY SORT. That includes prescription drug abuse as well as any illegal substances that are out there. This is non-negotiable for me. This includes MARIJUANA . I am not much of a drinker - so meeting over drinks is ok..but not my first choice (unless you don't mind if I drink non-alcoholic beverages) (I prefer not to have my first impression of someone to be through beer-goggles or wine-colored glasses)
