About Me

I'm really interested in meeting new people and having some fun whether that is spending time at some great venue, being outdoors or going out for a great meal or cooking one. I wouldn't say I'm, on the outset, looking to meet the man of my dreams but I'm open to the possibility if such chemistry exists. I'm not the type of person who likes to project things out into the future and state a goal where relationships are concerned. I think when one does that, they are more likely to set themselves up for failure. I like to take things in stride and real time. If we are meant to be together, then let our relationship take its natural course!I love to dance and my passion is Brazilian dance. I've danced since my early 20's and I find the music and dance invigorating and soulfull. That being said, yes I love Brazilian music and Latin music of all kinds. However, I do not limit my music interests to only Latin, although I prefer to dance to Latin music above all else. My music preferences are vast but my least favorite is Country music, although you could get me to two step if your skills of persuasion are successful and it's that important to you ; )I have various interests of which I don't have time for everything but I do the best I can. I love yoga and have practiced for over 15 years. I love to cook and experiment with various recipes. I enjoy good food, stimulating conversation and I love to be in the company of groups of people. So if we should date, I'm really not one to be a couple solely together all the time. I need the stimulation of the group environment as well. And you better have male friends that you love to hang out with from time to time. I love men who have lots of friends. It seems to me that men who have lots of friends appear to be more social. I don't want to be your sole source of entertainment and I wouldn't expect you to be that for me either. I have tons of girlfriends and male friends and I like it that way. If you are secure with yourself and who you are, you will be comfortable around me.I studied environmental design and architecture in college and changed my major to fine arts. Hopefully, one day this city will find it's way to investing more in an arts culture but time will tell I suppose. For the most part, I get my art "fix" My work incidentally is not involved in the arts but it does require a keen eye. I work as an ophthalmic photography consultant involving studies of the eye using special cameras to photograph various diseases. These studies involve researching the efficacy of new drugs and there effect on positive outcomes. I am working toward building my business to the point that travel will be apart of my work again.I have two children, who are the light of my life, but I'm not looking for you to spend time with us. My children have their father and I want to spend my time apart from them with somebody fun to be with. I love children and if you have children that's great too but I prefer to keep that part of your life and mine separate. If you turn out to be somebody special in my life, I don't object to you meeting my children or me meeting yours because that is part of the process but that is so far off I can't even begin to think about it. I just want to disclose that I have children and that they are an important part of my life and take up 50% of that life. I think this is enough information for now......Let's just put it this way, if you want to be with me, you should be open minded, super fun to hang out with, live an active lifestyle, enjoy life and above all else LAUGH! Sharing a meal is always a great first date!

    So just a little about me> I am a mother of two wonderful boys 9 and 14, they keep me pretty busy!!!! I believe in working hard and playing even harder.
