About Me

Just don't want to mislead any major outdoors men. I enjoy the outdoors and outdoor activities...but love the comforts of the city when I'm done. Camping is not a word in my vocabulary. ;-)A little bit about me, eh!"The Girl"... yes, that would be meVivacious and Kind - are the two words my friends would use to describe me. My guy friends had some other good ones but they were more descriptive of my outer shell, shall we say. I am generous and share with those I care about. Talking with my hands, and generally being a touchy feely person, helps me to express myself even better. I'm upbeat and like to encourage others to focus on their greatness. I don't believe in God but do say "oh god" in the heat of some moments. ;pMy sense of humour is improv standup. I find the ridiculous in the mundane, the twist in the serious, saying what most are thinking (that's assuming most are thinking?). Humour connects people. Hopefully, witty intelligent banter turns you on coupled with a great set of... Now back to our regularly scheduled PG profile.Everyday starts with a latte and a walk around the park with my 2 dogs. I participate in many activities & sports, but prefer to do most with someone, especially tennis and pool. Driving balls at the golf range. ;***Rona is one of my fav stores to go shopping at.I am a successfully self employed interior designer/contractor - everyday brings something new and allows me to utilize all my skills and learn new ones. Daily, it's great being around people I respect, appreciate and quite enjoy.Being near water feeds my soul - love to swim, windsurf, boat or just watch the sun dance on the water. In the winter I ski and skate. Travel is a priority for me...it is truly the fruit of my labour.Not a foodie but enjoy soicalizing over a meal prepared by you (I can be your sous chef) or at a restaurant. I can cook, but that's only because I can read a recipe book and follow ***, I think is a good thing! Red wine with a wonderful meal is a special treat.Having a companion to share in the every other day or the extraordinary, would be awesome. Over the years and from being married (divorced for the last 8 years) I have learned the art of compromise, a necessity for the success of any type of relationship!Entertaining and/or socializing with friends is enjoyable but I also like to relax at home or take a blanket down to the beach and soak it all in."The Man"... yes, you thereJust be 100% yourself and happy with the person you are. Be kind, thoughtful, affectionate, somewhat sophisticated, sense of humour, fit, active, independent, curious, intellectually agile and open to meeting someone new. And have the room in your life and heart for a true partner. Note: Shallow or not...my physical type is tall and lean/fit. Note: You enjoy endless hours on the open road on your motorcycle - we will not be a match. "The AGE Factor"My preference - men around my own age. Not a rule, I'm open to whomever a great connection can be made with. Character moulded by depth and experience is very sexy to me. It is not my desire to look like or be 35 years old. Never been the type to get hung up on a number. Life's too short. There's no guessing how well I'm going to age, I'm here, proof positive. Goes good with red wine (not too dry, not too sweet). Vegetables. Fruit now and then. Meat once in a while. I'm pretty open to trying new foods. I love ethnic foods (I miss sushi).
