Ok, so here goes a chance to try to put in words me....I'm an open book. I love new adventures and being able to have someone to share that with me. I want someone to make me laugh, too often we forget to just lighten up and have fun in life, it's the simple things that matter to me. I enjoy the many different paths in life that you learn from and you take that leason and live from it! I play football, volleyball, love to work out. I love a good meal, Italian, or cooking out under the moon. The beach is by far the spot for me, but I wouldn't mind snuggling up by the fireplace on top of the mountain side in front of a warm fire. I love my family and want one of my own one day. No matter what, I will stay true to myself and my friends, I will not settle for less that I deserve, it's really quite simple. My ideal first date would be for a gentleman to actually ask me out. Too often these days I find that "boys" will ask to come over and fix dinner and watch a movie. That's cool on like a 3rd or 4th date. I believe that the first date should be in an environment where neither will feel uncomfortable and can be at ease and enjoy the company to see if there is a spark. Nice conversation, a good glass of wine, a nice dinner and then it really won't matter until the 2nd or 3rd time. That's when you really start to know someone's personality or character. I could go to a game, a movie, to the park and be as content as the next.

This is all new to me as my friends talked me into it...so here goes. I am a mom of two great kids (ages 9 and 14). They are my world and come before anything else. I am looking for a companion for myself to hang out, date, have fun. I enjoy spending time watching my kids activities (baseball, softball, gymnastics, marching band, theater). I love to be out on the boat - riding, fishing, scalloping, swimming, kayaking. I don't care much for the beach as I sunburn easily and don't see the point in sitting out to bake myself.I love to cook and bake, especially if I have someone to share that with. I have a passion for the theater and have been involved acting and singing in local community theater for almost 10 years now. I am independent and am not looking for someone to take care of me; I am handling that pretty well on my own. I dress for comfort, not to impress (but I don't go out looking like a slob either). I do not wear makeup (except on stage). I would do anything for my friends. Honesty is extremely important to me.
