I enjoy endless conversation, fun with friends, meeting new people. I love warm weather and walking the beach especially with my dogs. My personal goal is to have my own business in the animal care profession someday and to carefully select my next relationship so that it has a chance of success. My least favorite music types are country and metal. Anything else is just fine with me. 80's is the best though. What makes me unique is that I am always happy, and don't like drama. I don't like confrontation, am low maintenance, independent, and cool to hang out with. People feel at home around me as if they've known me for years even if we just met. I am not looking for someone who wants to be my texting buddy and never get to see each other. I don't have any expectations on this site; if I meet somebody great and it leads to a more permanent relationship that would be terrific. Canceling a first date is pretty much never going to get you another shot at a first date. Please be between ***P.S. I enjoy cooking as long as you don't mind cleaning up! DEAL BREAKER: Smokers, of any kind, drug usage. My first date would be a brief meet and greet for a drink and appetizer. Nothing heavy, just short and sweet unless things are going so great we cant stop talking. Someplace not too loud so we're not yelling to speak to each other. If after that we're mutually interested then we can meet again. If not, nice to meet you and good luck. I don't want to sugar coat things at this point in my life. Not looking for one night stands. I would like to date someone who knows how to treat a lady.

Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
I'm an easy going, down to earth individual. I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, cooking (for the right person) and dining out. I like to try different cuisines and love learning about different cultures, my absolute favourite food is Indian. So, if you do not like Indian food then there is no future here... Probably the one thing that makes me unique is my love of Korean cinema. The movies are original and have interesting story lines, not to mention the cultural differences that make them very different from the typical US norm. However I also love watching almost any foreign film with a new and unique plot. My taste in music is varried, but I generally enjoy mainstream music best but also have a liking for latin music (bacchata and reggaeton). I'm hoping to meet someone who has most of the qualities I'm looking for, is serious about, and has time and energy for, a healthy relationship.Qualities I value:Honesty, integrity, kindness, respoectfulnessI am looking for someone who is drama free (lol....sorry I couldn't resist, a lot of guys put this on their profile and it always makes me laugh...are there people who really look for drama in their lives?) I generally want someone who is fun to be around and who has that spark. Someone that I look forward to seeing and hearing from and makes my heart skip a beat whenever they are near.I believe relationships take time to grow. It is important to get to know each other. There's no sense in diving in with both feet only to find out that the person you thought was the one is far from it. The only way to see if the person is who you are looking for is by asking questions that are important to you and giving honest answers when you are asked questions in return. One thing you will find out about me is I don't play games. What you see is what you get and my answers will be honest, even if it's not the answer you want to hear. I expect the same in return. Games are for children, not the young at heart. PS Must love dogs as I have two :) Our first meeting I do not consider a date. It should be coffee, somewhere quiet where we can talk easily and see if there's a connection and see if a First Date is an option. Frist dates can range from lunch to dinner to mini golf something fun that will allow for us to talk and get to know each other. Movies are not a good idea on a first date since you can't really talk to each other

I'm constantly bewildered by the cruel joke of heterosexuality. Why am I drawn to and attracted to the opposite sex when it appears that everything about us is, indeed, opposite? It seems that men are more suited to living with men, and women with women. So why are we trying to fit a square peg into a round hole (please pardon the pun as I believe I've just answered my own question while philosophizing). I am sort of a walking contradiction in that I love people but am sort of a loner. I'm a little bit country, but I'm also a little bit rock 'n' roll. I love to go for a long hike in the woods with my dogs, but when I get home I might blast some Radiohead or Pink Floyd... or Johnny Cash. Then there's big band music! So much to choose from...I like social gatherings but I'm more likely to enjoy doing something productive. Most of my hobbies entail solitude. Things like painting, writing (screenplays mostly), hiking, biking, hanging out with my dogs. Very dedicated to my dysfunctional family, as well. I'm not a huge fan of television but do like public TV and a few cable shows like "Curb Your Enthusiasm." I could watch that show for hours. Also like Mad Men and a guilty pleasure is "The Bachelor". I can be too serious/cynical about life sometimes but when my mind is free from worrying about my family, my friends and the planet, I can be a hell of a lot of fun! I love to laugh but I also can appreciate a peaceful Sunday morning drinking coffee, listening to music and reading the paper. (One stripper said that a raisin was once originally a pickle--I'm sorry, it's cruel but it makes me feel better about myself!) I'm a pescatarian and would prefer someone that's not big on eating meat. Also would love someone who is outdoorsy and more of a homebody than an adventurer.I've been told I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body. Maybe you should be a lesbian trapped in a man's body? First date should always be quick and painless, like ripping off a band-aid, just to see if there is chemistry. A quick dinner/drink or lunch is preferred. If we make it to the second date, I'd like to take a day trip to a city I've never been to before (provided I'm driving so you can't try to kidnap me, only to be seen again on milk cartons--Have you seen this girl?) and explore the local culture. Restaurants, shops, art museums, plays, etc. If the day goes well, the drive back home exchanging time on the iPods (which we'll bring on the first date, of course) should be titillating!
