Hola! Here's me in a nutshell; Funny, bright (usually!), from a big family, loves kids, Irish, never married (just haven't met the right guy yet, I guess?), work-aholic, but trying to improve. Looking to meet down-to-earth good guy who lives in the Twin Cities area (that's Twin Cities, guys). Profiles with pictures ONLY...fair is fair, right?? No picture, no fair &...sorry :(The internet dating thing is like shooting fish in a barrel...anyone who tells you differently is wrong....wouldn't you agree? It's like trying to find that job that "fits" or the right car, house, etc. only much more complex. Let's face it, we all have some "baggage" in our lives no matter where we come from, what relationships we've had, etc., etc., etc.. I think the challenge is to not let that baggage get in the way of meeting new people & maybe making new friends or more along the way. I'm a work-in-progress, myself. I am a lapsed Catholic, but am Christian and fairly spiritual. Finding the same thing in another is important to me - not necessarily the Catholic part, but the rest of it. I'm reasonably smart (I hope, anyway), though constantly have to work at keeping up with local & national politics, which I don't care much about. I am a Liberal - this will probably not change, so I want to put that out there from the get-go...LOL!I'm currently working on smart-ass, yet clever, answers to the question I get ALL the time...."WHY are you still single????" Or better yet, "Why haven't you ever married??". I'm hoping to make a top-ten list, so any good ones you have are most welcome!! Let me know if you'd like to chat further! Betty's Mom First meeting date or first DATE date? First meeting is the requisite coffee/drink meeting and then we see if we want to meet again, if that's cool with you?
