I love live music whether it be classic rock, metal, grunge, country and alt country, Celtic, there just is not much I cannot embrace. What makes me unique? IDK, I am spiritual but not religious. I am older and slower than I used to be. I've worked hard all of my life and I cherish those that I love! I am cautious and private for the most part and choose my people very carefully. I was married 11 years and I have three grown children, the youngest of whom will continue to live with me until she receives her credential. I am an animal lover so I have pets and I have some ailments that lay me up on occasion so I am not capable of a lot of jet setting all over the place unfortunately. I am a homebody during the week unless I have a concert to go to which happens often. I do not dance unless I am led in a slow, sweet song which quite frankly "never happens"! I think I am funny in a corny and sometime inappropriate way, I love to laugh so whatever works! I am liberal in my convictions and doubt very seriously I could consider the conservative choice in a mate, who am I kidding it will never work gentlemen! I prefer a tall man because I'm 5' 8" and full figured therefore a man of larger stature enables me to feel dainty although I did have a boyfriend once who was 5' ***" and we are still on good terms to this day. I hope to find a laid back happy man who can love me unconditionally. A man who shares my political views and who will not impose his religion upon me because I have no use for it. I enjoy simple pleasures and I consider myself to be very low drama, I have no desire for emotional upheaval. It has been five years since I have considered attempting love again and still have not quite convinced myself I am ready but I hope to be when the right man comes along. I am not a gold digger and I much prefer blue jeans over stiletto's. I am plain and simple and unpretentious and I sincerely hope I will find my soul mate once our planets have aligned! Meeting a person for the first time should be a natural experience so a comfortable setting, like maybe meeting for a breakfast and simple conversation over coffee is nice or maybe meeting for a drink after work to see how it all goes. If it all goes well the sky is the limit, if not we can part company as friends.

The Best is yet to come, that is what they say. Most of us have lived more life than we have left so lets find someone to live those tender years with. Being single does not bother me UNTIL I am in a restaurant or shop and see an older couple holding hands and looking so much in love and then I think I would love to have some one to grow older with, or, when people plan get together's or events such as camping, Vegas, dune buggy rides and usually it is all couples and then there is you....the single one, who declines the fun since it is all couples. I enjoy reading (current book: ";), movies, drives and day trips to the mountains, beaches, and deserts (when not too hot) on weekends or evenings as I work full time during the week. I like Old West towns, Farmers markets, live music, target practice. I also like Bingo, Bowling, BBQ's, Dinner mystery theater, picnics, swap meets, yard sales. I also don't mind just staying around home having a home cooked meal or BBQ in the back yard. I am casual and not really into fancy or extravagant. I am basic and down to earth, don't like drama or frills, and am a conservative.Z..........the list goes on.I am looking for a gentleman a little older than me or at least very mature for companionship, one that is retired or working, no baggage, dead beats or drama. I am not a sugar mama and am not looking for a sugar daddy. I am hard working, over weight and honest. Yes I am overweight, glance at the photos, so if you are not interested that is fine, move on to the next profile, we all have our personal pros and cons for ourselves and for others.
