I am a caretaker by nature, I am a outgoing, energetic personality who believes positive thoughts bring positive opportunities.... let's just say I roll with the adventures of my life and keep an open mind and open heart a little on the stubborn side and demand the same respect and trustworthiness that I give in return..I do love romance and romantic evenings out or just snuggling up in front of a fire, watching movies or just talking.I am passionate about everything that I love, especially hiking. I love the simplicity and solitude of hiking..I love that it's so holistic, it involves your body, your mind and your spirit. Hiking keeps me young the best therapy... It challenges me. this is the passion of hiking in a nutshell. If you come at me with too much sexual questions/talk i'll assume that's all you are looking for and you won't get anywhere with me...trust me when I say I'm very comfortable with my sexuality but if you're not interested in getting to know the main course you'll never get to the dessert.

As a reporter, I am a naturally curious person of everything, but I much prefer to write feature human interest stories about people that fascinate me which tends to throw all of any of my objectivity out the window. I believe everyone has a unique talent and story in them intersting enough to write about. Im a big kid at heart so I love to have fun and you would probably catch me out playing pool, bowling or socializing with friends. I love to laugh even at myself sometimes and would probably be the first person and possibly the only one laughing at my own jokes. And I play a mean game of poker. I am athletic and like to stay active with tennis, golf and even volleyball. I love yoga/pilates and believe everyone should try it and include it in their workout because Ive found it to be the best thing out there for toning up the body. Especially, for people my age. It wouldnt be unusual to see me at the batting cages either whenever I have the chance. I am a great pool player really if anyone is up for the challenge. I am not so much into modern music. I like some, but put on some old classic 60s through the 80s rock and roll and Im having a party. I also love the good ole oldies. I recently lost the loves of my life, my dogs of which passed on all after the age of 18. They will always be in my heart. Yes, I do have a soft heart for dogs and their unconditional love. Ive been on this site for sometime now and it is a good way to meet new people either good or bad. I must admit I havent met too many people from this site myself, but thats because of my own preferrence and I really havent a clue what Im expecting from this site other than to just meet new people and make new friends. I am a single person in no great hurry to actually find a solid settled down longterm relationship, but I believe that will come in its own time whenever. It could be tomorrow or three years from now who knows? But, I am interesting in meeting new people and finding new friends and for that reason I am still here checking out all the guys here. So thats me!

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
I probably need to clarify that little attention grabber...I'm looking for someone to engage in spontaneous acts of play. I love adventure near and far. I can say truthfully that many things bring me joy except for weeding, ironing and folding laundry. I have a kayak, but haven't yet assembled all of the necessary equipment to use it. I'm working out more and call myself a non-runner who runs. I recently purchased a road bike and can't wait get the proper pedals and shoes so that I can take it out for a spin. My next trip is to the Amazonian rainforest and Ecuador in January. I am social and love spending time with my friends and family. I am an educator and a teacher advocate. I am working on a Master's program (hence the reason for the lack of kayak paraphernalia). I love what I do! I devote a lot of time and heart to do it. I love to learn and know I will always be growing. I value that in people. I tried to join the Peace Corps when I was 17, they politely told me to get an education first. I need to learn Spanish and want to learn photography. I wish I were more handy and could complete the projects on my to do list more quickly. I'm proud to be liberal. I love and argue with the Republicans in my life. I was raised Presbyterian, but have dated a Jew, a Buddhist, a Catholic, a Sikh, and a Muslim. Biggest faults-I am very busy with work and school. I procrastinate (I will do chores over homework), I overbook because I don't like to miss out on anything, and I run late. Biggest assets-I am positive, open and loving. I was married for 12 years, no children, and we are still on good terms. I don't know how to do the bar scene. I don't really know if there is only one special person or if you find the person who is right for you at that point in your life. I grew up on "Happily ever after", but I know that I already have that with or without a long term companion. I'm hoping to find someone who challenges me intellectually and to be my best self; I want to be with an optimistic, independent person who is affectionate and fun. I am happy with myself (with a little tweaking here and there) and would love to build my future with someone who is secure in himself, comfortable around others and in new situations. After meeting for a beverage and a chat...let's get creative!Exploring Chinatown, having dim sum, walking to the Ferry Building, checking out the farmer's market, buying a few goodies, grabbing coffee and people watching while getting to know each other.ORHiking with a picnic.OR Watching a Steelers (It's a growing year for them) game in the sports bar of your choice and going to hear music afterwards.
