Hello! What can I say about myself? I'm a Christian who prefers the same. Just makes things easier if we're both playing by the same rules. I'm originally from NY but have been in AZ my entire adult life..... though I don't think I realized that at the time. I'm a registered nurse with a good job that I enjoy....most of the time. It's challenging for sure, but it's also very rewarding! I'm half Italian & half Irish, it was a lot like growing up with Lucy & Ricki! 12 years of Catholic grade & H.S. Mom & Dad are still happily married & very much in love...it's been a hard act to follow. My children are independent adults ... quite liberating. I love God & all the cool things He created! Bit of a science nerd, just fascinated by all the new discoveries! I love to learn, & to teach...I'm told I'm really great with children, I love them & they know sincerity. I thank God I've lived to see this day of the internet with its exponential explosion of shared knowledge. To be able to get on line & google earth our whole planet, or moon, or solar system, or galaxy...& beyond... is inexplicable! Every other generation that walked the planet could only look up & wonder, or spend a lifetime unlocking small clues ....when we have students not even out of college yet who get on SoHo in real time & find previously unknown asteroids & comets....it's fantastic! (& at times can make my brain hurt trying to comprehend) And that's just overhead!,...then there's genetics! I love to learn .......about the real world that is, science, history, current events. Or the housewives of any place. I miss being in love.... having someone I'm connected to all the time on our own private level. I've learned a lot from the past but don't live there. Hoping to find someone kind & interesting who is confident enough to still be charming! I have a lot of energy so I do work out, always have, it's part of my life. But that doesn't mean I care if you do. I'm more interested in your personality & emotional availability. Would love to find someone who has learned as I have that we can't change any one except our self. Therefore, I am prepared to accept your weird with your good if you will do the same. I must warn of my reluctance to travel out of my comfort zone. Seriously, I get stressed trying to find new places & there's nothing fun about getting lost. I am a natural blonde so maybe that explains it. Anyway, I realize it's not the good ol' days where the lady gets picked up for a date....but I'm still going to expect the gentleman to come to my neck of the woods, for a first date. Down the road if things work out...:) I'm sure I can teach my car one more familiar route....to your house. climb the Himalaya....lol....idk...anything but starbucks. great for drive thru but to sit & talk? Awkward.

Life is to short not to have fun anymore. My fun is always an adventure meeting new people and trying things. I have a very open mind and like trying new things. I enjoy going to the movies, dinner, or just going for a walk. It is not what you are doing it is who you are doing it with. I have tattoo's that are an expression of me. Either you get it or I have offended you. - My therapist asked me if I was an optimist or pessimist. Did I see the glass as half empty or half full - I told her I was a problem solver and drank what ever was in the glass. I no longer need a therapist. What am I looking for...Hmmm - Must be honest , Open to almost anything. Takes care of himself. Likes to have fun. I guess the rest we will have to learn as we go along. I have a two children 20 and 9. My 9 yr old son we share ***, his father takes the bottom half and I get the top half. It works for us. I have a good relationship with my ex-husband. After 32 years we have finally learned how to communicate. We do it for our children. Stating we never have any drama would be wrong, just our drama only last a few hours and we move on. We both know it is not worth it. First date, lets face it they are always awkward. More like an interview. Coffee or Ice Tea works for me.... I know what I want in I a friendship/relationship. If we do met a couple of times and I do not think you are for me I am going to honest and let you know. I can't read fricken minds so please be honest with me - my ego will only be bruised for a minute... If your profile age is off by more than a couple of years then you need to be VERY honest upfront and Please provide recent pictures. If you can't be honest then you are just going to be wasting both of our time!

Sometimes what life has to offer is hard and challenging, but that is what makes everyone who they are.
