I'm officially 41 now =( But since I didn't celebrate my birthday the last two years does that mean I can still cling on to 39? :)My core beliefs:I wrote the section below this one before my father passed away in ***...his passing only amplified my zest for life and trying to make the best one I can with the time left. LEt's face it, we all have an expiration date and we don't know when that is... Does that mean to go be irresponsible and stupid and party and be wreckless and lose all sense of morals,values,standards and ethics? Absolutely not. It's not a pink slip.... It does mean however that you need to re-evaluate your life n Identify what's missing and be open minded to really finding something, someone,that will enhance your life and bring more joy into your days. Someone you want to call the minute something trivial or monumental happens in your day. Someone you long to see at the end of the day...someone with whom you look forward to making plans with and doing nothing and everything with...anyway... here is a peek inside my heart, mind and soul.... : ...I believe when you are truly a friend to someone -you will make yourself tangible to them. We all need someone to hug, shoulders to cry on- and help...we all stumble and fall time after time,nobody's perfect we are all weak. As I age I see my parents can not always be there to help...and yes we should all stand alone, live alone,live well and live and love strong... but we all need a very best friend. Someone our OWN age or close to it -to grow old with and share life with. I also feel when you start something-you should finish it,no matter what obstacles cross the path of the task at hand. All we have is our word, and if we can't honor that- what do we have left. Help strangers, help the elderly,help children and those in need...lend an ear, time and elbow...make a difference in your life by making a difference in others and most importantly don't leave someone stranded...it's just not Christian. Put yourself before others esp. when you are more One step at a time...

But "YOU" do the "same thing" if we arent pretty enough or skinny enough or whatever.My advice to you and my fellow women is this."Don't judge the book by it's cover". It's something i was always told. Because you may never know what truly lies inside until you open it. So, dont ask me what i'm looking for because this lady will give you the same answer every time. "I don't know" I can tell you what i "Think" i want or would like to have... But what i do know is this.. "IF and WHEN" i find whatever it is i'm looking for, then I will "KNOW"..and thats the plain truth. Take it or leave it. Because life is too precious to waste. Oh. I am looking for a man that doesn't do drugs or constantly drink. You can't be dependent on your parents, and you should have your own transportation. Some sort of income is important too, preferably via a legal job. I'm not looking for a "mama's boy", nor do I want baby mama drama. I'm not opposed to a man that has children, but don't want to get caught up in domestic disputes. Hair and eye color are not important, but he needs to be at least 5'8" tall and between the ages of 40 and 50. He must like animals, as I have a total of 10. I have a degree as a Veterinary Technician and am also a Disabled Veteran. Disabled does not automatically mean lack of or loss of use of legs and arms, and Veteran does not automatically mean PTSD. If you know what this means, you're probably a shoe in. LOL! I spent ***years in the Air Force.I enjoy scrap booking, cooking, and taking care of my animals. I love to hang out with my friends, and joke around. I'm not into head games or drama. I think the secret of life is laughing a lot and loving life!I own my house, and want to do some remodeling as time and money allow. I like lots of different kinds of music, mostly 80's pop, classic rock and country. I enjoy some rap, hip hop and R&B. Just don't ask me to dance the polka. LOL!! I like comedies, romance, and some action.I'm not looking for anything serious right now, but if it turns into something serious later, I'm not opposed to that. I believe two people must get to know each other before jumping into that decision.P.S. I changed "smoking" to "Ocassionally" because I have been just over 1 week smoke free. I am using E-cigarettes to quit, and am doing very well. :) Dinner and a movie are cliche' but a nice start. But to help take the tension off, meeting at a park for a picnic lunch, or meeting for coffee is nice too. I'd like to have a chance to talk with my date and learn who they are. Also allow them a chance to learn who I am.
