About Me

I believe that if we follow our heart when it comes to work and love, it will take us in the right direction. Hopefully straight to happiness and satisfaction! Family....that's a different story - more about commitment, and caring with effort. These are some of the things that have wised me up over the years. But the biggest thing: people are the most important parts of our lives. I love living here - I've met a lot of inspiring people here and find it a wonderful place to work and live. I work for myself as a creative director and designer, for clients all over the place, so that can get intense, but my garden is where I relax, or a walk down to the river to clear the head. My office is within walking distance from my home, so it's an easy, green commute. I bought a house a few years ago and have had a blast fixing it up, although I'm almost out of projects, and garden space :) There's a view of Mt. Yoga: I do lots of it, and I teach it too. I've helped people become more flexible in their body and their mind, and I get tremendous enjoyment from that activity. I also try to meditate every day but - ha! - I get busy during the week, and my grand plan goes right out the window along with the incense.Movies - especially good ones - are a blast for me. I love walking out in a completely different head than when I walked in. Good food is also important - I eat healthy (no meat) and I love to cook when there's time. I try to eat in a way that makes me feel great every day but it's way more fun when a meal is shared. There have been a few fun parties at my house. I like to be social and entertain - to make people feel at home.There's a lot more to say, but this description is getting long! If you want to know more, write me. Cocktails or coffee.     I am a single mother of two great children. We are a very sport minded family. My kids both play various sports so you will usually find me on a field for a few hours each day. I still love to play and enjoy watching sports both live and on tv. Live music is great, espeically in small settings. I want to explore more of those places in the near future.
