A little - I lied already - a LOT about me: (lol) I’m strong minded, independent, easy going & like to have fun. :) I LOVE to laugh & feel it's one of the most important things to do in life. I'm not the high maintenance type at all, can do a bb cap & jeans, or get dolled up in a dress & heels for dinner/dancing/etc. I love to do for others, very giving, open-minded, high energy, adventurous, thrill seeking, LOVE the outdoors: camping, hiking, fishing, shooting, bbq's, sun-tanning, boating/jet skiing, dock parties...love dancing - salsa, tango, country, swing, etcc.;)...I love being spontaneous, love road trips & exploring any cool sights along the way - museums, natural wonders, etc. I esp. love tropical places, but love traveling all over from the desert to the mountains & everywhere in between! I grew up traveling as I'm an army brat so travel is & always will be in the blood. When I'm ready to settle it'll probably be somewhere in the SW or at least the West coast so I'll be near all my family, and cause I'm a huge sun/water lover! Don't know though, if I meet someone special I'd go to the ends of the earth for em, so :)...I would love to get an RV though when I retire & just travel the US & go on cruises & vacations to as many places as possible before I 'check out'! lol Anyway I’m not afraid of change & always like a good challenge so if fate comes along & Family is huge to me & I've got a great one, I love life & am happy, but want someone special to share it with. I don't date like at all, lol. Last time I was on meetville was 2 yrs ago & I only went out w/3 guys & was done. I haven't had a serious relationship/boyfriend in 7 yrs (a few of those initial yrs were due to a serious accident I had & had to rehabilitate - broke my neck in '07); I've since moved to the NW in '08 & been here since but haven't found anyone worth getting serious about. I spend most down time tryin to get outside when the weather is nice, going to events or meetups that interest me, making my crafts (jewelry & scarves), hangin w/friends, working out, OR...screwin around on my laptop! I'm not much into the bar scene anymore; but I do still like to get out & dance -I'll drink water though & mainly think of it as great exercise (& make sure no one touches my drink while I'm on the floor - happened before & caught it!!). Anyway I'm not a big fan of dating in general, so I don't try to meet guys & talk or try to "hook up" when I'm out...I mean like, anywhere! lol. I figure if a guy is interested he can make a move & just come talk to me. I get a lot of younger guys lookin for cougars (NOT I "babes"! lol), which is annoying so I try to avoid those types of places where the younger ones hang out. I time have time for mind games & stupidity, lol. And I can pick fakes & jerks out PDQ - my jerk detector has become quite developed over my almost 41 yrs! Lol SO...if you're doing what I call "trollin?", keep on a-lookin fellas! I have 0% tolerance for BS! I'm a good and truly caring person and ready for a solid relationship so control freaks & players needn't waste your time OR mine. I'm sweet but not naive by any means so don't mistake my sweet little smile for weakness, got it?! Good! lol I'm at a good place in my life & am ready to love & give all of myself to make that special man as happy as possible. I'm an optimist so people that're too negative and judgmental (well & clingy)...and mean, rude, or arrogant & selfish - usually don't last long w/me. If you're like that I'll just stop calling! Oh & my dad is retired military and my son is a 20 yr old bad-ass Marine ("Oorah - Semper Fi!", and just got orders for HI! Woohoo! I see a HI vacation in my near future! Sorry, I'm so proud so had to brag!); anyway, lol...so they've both got my back: watch out! lol. ;pMy ideal match? Someone that doesn't get on my nerves too much! lol JK - mostly! Someone w/a great smile & sense of humor that doesn't take life TOO seriously - a positive person who is mature & responsible, romantic, & looking for LOVE...& a true lasting friendship/relationship full of fun, adventure, romance (reiterating!) & respect! Again I am very giving & love to do special things for my guy - for holidays I love to cater to my guy buying him his favs of things or doing things he enjoys, I like to cook, clean, pamper, etc. - & it's about time I get the same in return. I deserve it darn it!!! Well since it's really more of a "meet & greet" probably just meet someplace low key over a quick drink so we can talk & get to know each other. I'm a single woman looking to meet some good men. If I end up meeting an awesome man that sweeps me off of my feet great if not then It will be more friends gained from this site. Not looking for a booty buddy!!!! so if that's all you want I'm not in!!! I started my own lil house cleaning and painting business, and yep I do all the work myself ! Which suits me well since I am a very clean and organized person. I don't like clutter or filth. Heads up I am no size 0, I'm what I would call thick and sexy. Don't most men like thick cheese burgers anyway? lol With that being said ,I changed my eating habits,3 years ago. strictly healthy foods, low carb I like to workout. I power walk an hour a day 5 days a week, tone up with the weight machines 4 days a week, and work on abs 3 days a week..I may be ready for a bikini contest this summer....Ummmm YEAHhhhh....NOOOO !!! But I have been melting down and toning up week by week ! Proud of myself! I may not have a perfect body but let's face it after having 6 kids who would?!!! But I do have a great attitude! I like looking good but I mostly workout because I am the last parent left and I want to be around to watch my babies grow up.I am def no couch potato, I'd rather do something productive than sit around and waste a day. As far as the shallow men go,Yall can't say much.about womens bodies..none of yall have ever been pregnant but your bodies look as if you have. Aren't we past the shallowness by this age? I think it's good to workout and be healthy but I don't mind extra weight on a man, That doesn't bother me at all. I prefer big men. My husband had always worked out and body builded until he had a blockage in his heart and had a stent put in, he was put on so many medicines for diabetes heart etc etc etc until it blew him up to ***lbs,for a couple of years. until he was taken off of some of them then he had lost back down. My kids are (B27, G24, B21, G19, B13, B5) all by the same daddy, We were married almost 25 yrs together ***yrs. So I never thought I would be thrown into the single life. My plans were to be married til we were very old. He passed away ***yrs ago in a car accident.My oldest son was with him and thankfully survived. He was a good man, I lost my momma suddenly in ***, her heart just stopped, and my granddaughter in ***. So I know first hand that saying is so very true...You really don't know what you had until it's gone!!! So enjoy your loved ones while you still can! OK kids class dismissed lol OK so let's see what's out there!
