Short trips are a blessing. What I am looking for is reasons to take those trips & reasons to share them. I do not care to be left behind all the time. It shows the person you are with, you can't imagine having fun with them if you want to leave them behind. Just means they are not the right person for you then. I have moved around a lot here in BC. Grew-up in the N.W.T, Arctic born. So have more of a small town view of friendship, don't make friends easily but when I do it is for life for me. I love to go out, doesn't really matter where, I am willing to experience just about anything, at least once. Sometimes it takes a new person to get you to step out of your safety zone. To step out of the everyday.I love humor, someone who can have me laughing even if I get a little mad. I love surprises. Random call to go do something is also nice & welcome. I am not looking to force anything. When I feel something that is awesome but I honestly have to be attracted to the person, otherwise I offer only friendship to anyone & everyone. Far from a gold digger type. Emotion and values in love are not based on wallet. I love talking to people from all walks of life, different ideas & beliefs. Learning is growth. I am a unique and independent person. I have lots of tattoos and as many people say, I am addicted. I have some piercings too. I am a metal head since birth. I love going to concerts and local metal shows also. I am a veterinary technician and have been for many years. I have 2 Pit Bulls that I absolutely adore. I also work with a Pit Bull rescue group. So, obviously, I am a HUGE Pit Bull advocate! I love the summer and the beach, but I also love the fall and the mountains, neither one better than the other. I enjoy spending time alone with my dogs, but also love spending time with my friends, depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I choose to be a happy person most of the time because life is too short to walk around being sad, angry, or depressed. My closest friends usually describe me as being "geniune or real". I can say I shoot straight from the hip. I am a grounded/down to earth woman who enjoys caring/pleasing others, for the majority has a great outlook on life, loves to have fun (comedic/sarcastic) and welcomes adventure. Life is way to short to take EVERYTHING so serious..don't sweat the small stuff... I believe that laughter is the spice of life and some of the most enjoyable things are the simplest things in life. Time is precious...you never get it back...so if you choose to do something - give'er your all and share in the moment. I enjoy being active; am most at peace/happiest when I can enjoy the outdoors. I am open to trying just about anything...I don't get scared easily and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. What motivates me?...my girls...basically trying to be the best mom I can be. I realize...they did not welcome nor had choice in the dissolve of our family/marriage...however, it is up to me to give them the tools they will need to find happiness some day. I know that kids learn by example (pretty big shoes to fill ;). They come first, and they should..they inspire me to become a better person (I am far from perfect, but always trying to better myself). Who/what I am looking for? Someone who would like to share in life/experiences (not all of them ;) but a guy that would know what decision to make for the common good - good for both; or is able to discuss/compromise). A man who hard working, enjoys life (being outdoors, adventure, possess a great sense of humor, has common sense, enjoys being romantic and spontaneous). Chemistry is a must (love great eyes, smiles, athletic type build). I don't like to play games, so communication (yes talking) is required.
