Like many people, I find it challenging to write about myself. You've heard that saying "We are our own worst critic". I am not perfect, but then again no one really is though we are all trying. We all have flaws and faults, it's natural. Experiences in life make us who we are today, how we use those experiences and learn from them is the challenge. The man I'm waiting for should feel secure in his own skin and with who he has become. He should be willing to continually grow and learn more, as an individual and together with me. I can be considered shy or tough at first, but as life has taught most people "Things aren't always what they seem". The one who is willing to get past these exterior characteristics will find that I am very warm, supportive and a loving person. I am a romantic at heart and enjoy being surprised and let's face it, what woman doesn't like to be swept off her feet from time to time. That doesn't mean that you won't get the same in return especially when you least expect it. No relationship is always ***, but when you average it out over time it should pretty close.I enjoy cooking and entertaining at home, it can be as simple as a BBQ or as fancy as a full course meal. What matters is the people that you are sharing the time with. I have wonderful kids. My dogs came from rescue shelters and are a part of my family. Im looking for someone for a companion for now and see how it goes i enjoy going for drives spending time with family and walking and going out to restraunts and occasionally out to the bar enjoy spending time with friends i listen to all music but most of all country family is very important to me my family is now small but family is everything i am fun loving and have a great sense of humor and im on here trying to find someone im widowed of almost two years and am ready to tread the waters again i live with my brother as he is single and does need a little help because he always had my parents till just two years ago i enjoy walking quiet nights at home movies timmys coffee spending time alone with significant other and also with family and friends like to be independant and not to have to depend on others i also work shift work so that makes it hard for meeting people but we can hopefully work around it also i feel that it takes more then a few days of meeting to embark a relationship start as friends and take the time to get to know them before ditching them it could be just going for coffee or a movie in a public place and the intial meeting i would like someone else to be with me for support and saftey HAVING A FRIEND WITH ME FOR INITAL MEETING IS A MUST IT IS FOR ME TO FEEL SAFE AS WELL AS SUPPORT
